  1. With all wing riders (I've ridden all 3) you have to ride the back for intensity. If you want the experience, go in the front. Wild Eagle is the worst wind rider I've ridden because it doesn't have to wing over drop which is the only way it's a good ride.
  2. Goliath at Six Flags Great America. Just a dumb one trick pony of a 85 degree drop and zero-g roll. That's IT!
  3. You cannot compare Disney and KBF because they are two different style of parks.
  4. That phone number (210-697-5476) points to RMC being involved. A wooden airtime machine?
  5. The crowds won't be too heavy. It's going to Michigan Days those days so there might be some a little extra, but wait times are normally less than 1 hour. Start with Maveirck, then TTD, then MF.
  6. The next Ohio Bash event is the one I'm signing up for1 That sounded like so much fun. I went on Banshee the other and I LOVED it! I really wanna ride a coaster with Robb some day.
  7. Maybe those marking around Raptor are for the relocating of SkyScraper and RipCord. That's add some space to the park which they are in big need of.
  8. No, there is no way you can hit all coasters and flat rides w/o fast lane. Buy one. Best money you'll ever spend. Are you staying at on-site resort?
  9. Green Lantern is better than those TOGO Death Machines! Let's just leave it that way. I really don't like stand-ups as much as everyone does.
  10. Yeah, it probably would be cheaper to give Cyclone the I-Box treatment and build a new wooden coaster at Fiesta Texas than it would be to build a new Goliath-style coaster and relocate Cyclone. *EDIT* How much did Goliath cost? Six Flags does not release ride costs. Cedar Fair does. It doesn't? Maybe they used to, because I read that New Texas Giant cost 10 million, and Goliath at Magic Mountain cost 30. Yeah, well we all knew that because Six Flags released those but generally they don't release costs. That's a Cedar Fair thing. I guess Goliath was $10 million since Outlaw Run wasthe same amount.
  11. Cedar Point is making lots for guests to park inside the park. Much easier than walking from the parking lot outside of the park. This is a step-up for Cedar Point, and I hope other parks allow guests to park within the park. Lol. In all seriousness, I do think that a dark ride could still be possible. Those markings were in the area of the old pirate ship ride building, I believe. [EDIT] I stand corrected. The markings were by the pavilion, and that's a bit far from the pirate ship ride building. sorry, typo. Meant markings! I'll take a look the next time I'm at Cedar Point.

  13. According to Texas Thrill Seekers on twitter, ride ops have announced that Hustler & Motorama will be closing.
  14. "They?" Who's "they"? Your answers are in the below video. Grab a beer and just figure it out.
  15. The US parks want something more reliable so they order B&Ms. That's what Cedar Fair does. Yeah, most of the brand new coasters in the US lately have been B&M. No Intamin.
  16. I believe LSM B&M technology. They've said for a while they can do it.
