  1. Can someone explain to me what the deal is with B&M dive coasters having MCBRs 30 seconds into the ride? Seems like a lot of momentum gone to waste.

  3. Looking good. The mixture of CTRs and regular RCT3 tracks looks a bit odd though.
  4. I wonder what stupid variation on the name "Roar" they'll decide to pull. It baffles me how SF thought that something like "Twisted Colossus" was an even remotely acceptable name. If you have to change the name to emphasize that it's a different ride, why not something decent like "Iron Colossus"? "New Texas Giant" is a pretty lame one too, but at least they didn't try to make it stupid. I'm calling "Mr. Six's angry Roar when he's woken up from his nap at the nursing home -- The Ride"
  5. I'll be interested to see what comes of this. I rode the RMC'd Texas Giant a couple months ago and it's probably the best ride I've ever been on.
  6. Hi all, hate to double-post but I can't really do this project without any feedback; I don't have enough time in my day to repeatedly playtest every scenario and I'm certainly not releasing a bunch of bug-filled, unfinishable or simply downright bad maps.

  8. I'm working on converting all of the vanilla RCT3 scenarios to RCT2 because everyone know that RCT3 basically sucks when you discount the custom scenery and coaster cam. I've completed Vanilla Hills and you can download it here. Just place it in RCT2's scenarios folder and it should appear in the "beginner parks" section ingame. No CS or expansion packs are required. Expect more in the coming weeks/months, enjoy. Report any bugs and tell me if it's to easy/difficult compared to the default RCT2 scenarios. Also, High Flier has been butchered because RCT2's proportions and collision detection for track are different than in RCT3. Deal w/it. =====CONVERSIONS COMPLETE===== Vanilla Hills - 100%

  12. Well, color me impressed. I remember hearing somewhere that they're using Unity instead of some crappy in-house engine, so stability won't be as much of an issue.

  14. I hope that they are able to make this run well consistently without downgrading the visuals. With the impressive polycount on everything in that screenshot, I can imagine some huge slowdowns once your park starts to get semi-big.

  18. Sorry for the double post, but this is an important little update: I've decided to make a full 180 and use RCT3 for this project instead. RCT2 had too many limitations and I got tired of messing around with trainers to make things work. I also decided to use Custom Scenery since anything made in RCT3 looks like crap without it. Little sneak peak
