  1. Or Maverick style coaster... If it were up to me, I would give Revolution a Steel Phantom/Phantoms Revenge make over. Remove everything except the drop into the loop, the loop, and station. Then have Intamin or Premier come in and build a entire new coaster around whats left of Revolution.
  2. ^ Wow! That is bad! I really thought Universal would fix the flaws of the Orlando Hogwarts Castle, the biggest one being able to see a giant show building while inside the land. Guess not. Really disappointing to see Universal only go 95% on Hogwarts. I'm also surprised that Warner Brothers and JK allow this to be acceptable.
  3. Wow! Such a cool looking ride! Great to see Universal re visit "traveling through the screen" effect. IMO one of coolest aspects of T2:3D. Hard to tell in the video, besides spinning, do the vehicles have any motion base to them like Spider Man and Transformers?
  4. Its not really an improvement as Six Flags does not allow you to make seating requests. Its been a year since I visited the park, but last time I did, I waited an hour in line for Full Throttle so I could get a front row ride, only to get to the station and be told no seating requests. That was the cherry on top of a bad day at the park and I haven't been back since. If SFMM is going to start grouping people they should look down the road at Universal and Disney and copy exactly how they handle grouping. Also, its great to see they are paying a person to group people at Colossus. We all Know that if there was one ride in the park that needed a grouper it was that one. I'm willing to bet Riddlers Revenge doesn't have one.
  5. I was watching some POVs on youtube and came across this comment that made me think of this thread. LOL!
  6. Ha Ha Ha, Love Sea Worlds response. LOL at PETA giving Steve-O an award for the fight for animal rights. I guess they've never seen what he has done with a goldfish or earthworm.
  7. Good news for those renewing an Annual Pass. Like with last years price increase, Disney has also increased the renewal discount. Premium- $60 off, up from $40. Deluxe- $40 off, up from $20. SoCal- $20 off, up from $10. SoCal Select- $10 off, no change.
  8. Prices went up! http://www.ocregister.com/articles/annual-614733-disney-passes.html
  9. Whoa! This looks fantastic! I have a feeling Chance will be selling a lot of theses.
  10. No. Waterworld just received a significant upgrade in the overall presentation of the show. Safe to say it isn't going anywhere in the foreseeable future.
  11. Knotts BY FAR. I quit eating there years ago because of the price and quality of food. I think funnel cakes are a minimum of $15 each! $15 for fried pancake batter! That is insane! http://www.incrediblecoasters.com/OfficialKnottsBerryFarmPage.html Yeah, no thank you.
  12. And I'm sure USO counts the land that Dragon Challenge sits on too. ^Also Universal Hollywood is now pulling six million a year. Transformers was HUGE for this park.
  13. Maybe Busch decided to add this instead of a flat ride. This ride has to have a lot more marketing potential compared to a flat ride. And maybe once the ride is through its first couple of seasons, the demand dies down to what you could expect with a big flat ride.
  14. They recently finished an expansion on the Jarrassic Parking Structure and have started on the new structure in the formor E.T. parking lot.
  15. ^ Before. Universal closed the Tokyo Drift portion of the Studio Tour in June or July of 2013. The rumor is that the producers of the new Fast and Furious movies were not happy with how the franchise was being portrayed and demanded Universal to close the attraction. Shortly after the attractions closure, Mike Sington an executive at USH, tweeted (has been deleted) that one of the most asked questions he gets is "why isn't there a Fast and Furious ride" and his response was vaguely hinting that their question would soon be answered.
  16. New for 2015 at Universal Studios Hollywood! New Fast & Furious Attraction! Expanded Simpsons Springfield Area! New for 2016 at Universal Studios Hollywood! Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Official Press Release: (More information included!)
  17. I rode it 3 times today, really liked it. Its just too bad that the height requirement is 40 inches as I feel this is a tamer version of Simpsons. I really hope Universal figures out some way to bring stationary benches to Hollywood like they have in Orlando. My biggest complaint about the ride is the un themed queue. You walk up to a very impressive facade of Grus house, enter a very detailed foyer and then **BAM** thrown into a generic sky blue switch backs that have just as much detail and charm of a Cedar Fair queue. Universal you are better than this. The only thing that can make me forget the un themed queue is if they end up using that space for HHN. Overall solid addition and Super Silly Fun Land looks great! And for those wondering how Minion Mayhem fits into the old T2 building:
  18. Just saw the Book of Mormon last night at the Pantages...EXCELLENT! I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard. Easily my favorite musical.
