You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....

You might be a coaster nerd if... You're listening to music and you come across a song that has nothing to do the coasters, but either the beat or the lyrics remind you of them. You draw coasters in the margin of you're notes you are taking in class. You hate when people make up obscure stories about coasters. i.e. "I heard so and so died on the ride" You also hate when people think woodies aren't safe Your friend that is terrified of coasters thinks you're nuts for liking them. You want to get a job at an amusement park. (to bad I'm more than a hour away from my home park. One day I will get a job there.) Sorry, I had to comment on this again. I can't help it. -

During off season, you go through coaster withdraw. So you're on YouTube all day watching POVs because it's the only way to fulfill that craving. -
Best Six Flags Park
MetallicHorse replied to OrlandoGuy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well my home park is SFGAm and I really haven't been to a lot of Six Flags. I think out of all of them, my favorite would probably be either Great Adventure or Magic Mountain. I don't know, I can't decide. One day I will visit both parks and decide then. -
Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

I saw a comment on YouTube the other day that said, "the top thrill dragster goes faster.. kingda ka copied!". My reaction wasn't to enthusiastic. -
I haven't been to a concert since Linkin Park last went on tour a little over a year ago, but I'm so excited to see them again in August with Thirty Seconds to Mars and AFI here in Chicago. This is a tour I've been waiting for. My 2 favorite bands Linkin Park and Thirty Seconds to Mars are finally touring together!

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
MetallicHorse replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Mine was the Raging Bull at SFGAm back in August. I'm going back in May with my ROTC class, I can't wait! It's been way to long -
Growing up, I was deeply afraid of roller coasters. My dad always use to push me and my sister on them and we both would throw fits. Through, I was always fascinated by them. All I wanted to do when I was young was to go to amusement parks and look at all of the roller coasters. Not ride them, just look at them. I always found them interesting by the way they move and their architecture. I would just stand there and stare at them for hours. After I started to get older, and was able to start bringing friends along, I started to lose my fears ever so slowly. By the age of 10, my dad started to let me be more independent while at theme parks. Me and my friends would ride different rides, and I started to leave my comfort zone when it came to coasters. It wasn't until my 8th grade end of the year field trip to Six Flags Great America when my fear of roller coasters finally went away. Something clicked in me when I was riding one of the coasters. I swear to god I rode it at least 6 times in a row. From that day on, I was hooked. Every time I would go back to Six Flags, the more and more I would fall in love with them. As of last summer, a friend of mine took me to Cedar Point for the first time. That's where I came to the conclusion that I was a roller coaster enthusiast. Lately, I've been watching POVs on YouTube and stumbled across Theme Park Reviews. I absolutely adore their footage of coasters, so I decided to check out their site. This is where I found a community of people that share the same interest as me. I just had to sign up! So now I'm here, hoping on day I can travel the world and visit different amusement parks like the people on here do.

MetallicHorse replied to SonOfBeastSucks's topic in Random, Random, Random
That's a hard one. I can generally listen to anything, but i mostly listen to rock. alternative, some country, dubstep, and some metal. Though I hate today's rap and pop music. -

Never. I'm not a huge fan of anime. When was your last time you went to a concert? -
Hello! I can across Theme Park Review on YouTube a few weeks ago and just had to check out their website. Since I love roller coasters, I had to join. Don't worry, I don't bite.
