It is expensive, but it's also a 6,600 foot long B&M. In my opinion, it's a little overhyped, but it is in no way a waste of money. If you look at the parks that have a B&M hyper and giga, you might notice something. It was said when Leviathan was announced. It was said when Fury 325 was announced. I'll rephrase it for you. The two coasters are focused on different things. Intimidator at Carowinds is mainly about the airtime. Fury 325 is mainly about high speed turns. You may notice the difference... when you ride the two roller coasters. A park could have as many B&M hypers as they want, and as long as the focus on each one is different, the only people complaining will be the GP noticing that a park has many 200 foot coasters with the same track and trains and spoiled enthusiasts wanting their [insert Enthusiast Pipe Dream]. I understand why someone would dislike Fury 325, but telling everyone you think it shouldn't exist with every post you make, that's something Nina Kleppe doesn't like.

Mantis was bad. I rode Vortex at Carowinds a few weeks ago, and it was much better than Mantis. Vortex was a little uncomfortable, while Mantis was painful. Rougarou is a miracle compared to what Mantis was.

The park cancelled the announcement the first time to show respect to the man who died so announcing it on 9/11 wouldn't be the smartest thing to do. I agree. I highly doubt we will see an announcement on 9/11. That's why I mentioned the 12th. I do believe they would repeat what they did last time they completed the timeline and wait a couple days before they randomly announce a date. It would look bad if they made an announcement on the 11th, I agree. Why the 12th? Why should they do it the day Space Spiral was demolished?

How is Zumanjaro compared to other drop rides? I might make a visit to SFGAdv sometime this year or early next year, and I've heard varying reviews of Zumanjaro. How intense is it compared to the drop towers at KI or KD?

For Mean Streak that's a great plan. As others have said... front seat, lean forward and stay off the seat back. It's really smooth then (but still boring). For Blue Streak, just stay off the wheels. The front isn't overly smooth either, ride in the middle row of any car and you'll like it. It's a really fun little coaster in the right seat. I rode Mean Streak in the back left seat of the second to last car and it was an enjoyable ride, with the roughness about equal to Dorney Park's Thunderhawk.
