I would hope not, they can't compete with Disneyland on any level IMO. Knott's has always been successful BECAUSE they were not Disneyland nor did they ever try to be. I think thrill rides are an integral part of Knott's success and I hope they don't lose sight of that.

A giga just isn't right for Knott's IMO, a mini-hyper maybe in the 150-180ft range would compliment the park however.

If Gradv gets a rumored launched Wing Coaster, B&M should discount it. Buy 5 coasters get the 6th 40% off

I wouldnt totally rule out the possibility of a wing coaster since Great America got one for $15 mil. However, it just seems redundant for Gradv to install a coaster that isn't much different than Bizarro and to a lesser extent, Green Lantern.

Magnum is must-ride even though it hurts like a b#&$#. It's a piece of history, plus the airtime hills at the end make it all worth it.

each side has 9, not counting little bumps before first lift Blue: first drop bunny hop big hill top (before high five) drop after high five bunny hop big hill under stall double up double up outward bank Green: first drop bunny hop big hill double down double down small hill after stall double up double up hill into brakes edit: I'm hoping the high five and the zero G also have some weird air time, too. Okay I see now, I omitted the first drop(s), the 2nd part of the double down, and the hill into the brakes on the green side. Guess we'll just have to wait and ride

I think people exaggerate when it comes to the whole trim thing at MM. Tatsu, Apocalypse, Batman, X2, Yolo, Ninja, Gold Rusher, Superman all run brake free as far as I know. Viper is understandable, does anyone really want to ride that thing without brakes? It's old and rips itself apart Scream and Riddler have small trims on their respective mid-courses but most of B&Ms coasters from that era have trims. Goliath exerts extreme positive g-forces on its riders, which again isnt MM's fault but an oversight of Giovanola The only ones in my opinion that dont make sense are GL and Revolution.

Maybe it's just the background music, but it seems as if the roar has been dampened somehow. Hopefully not though, I thought Mantis had a great sound that you could hear from quite a distance in the park.
