What is your next park?
boldikus replied to onewheeled999's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
While I certainly wish I could say it was somewhere Ive never been looks like its back to Morey's this weekend to hang out with the folks, wish Dad a happy F-day, get some good dive bar drinking in, and of course hit up The Great White, which was sadly closed when I was in town last month. -
This is interesting as Ive warned friends Ive taken to the park "Watch what you wear apparently you can get kicked out for inappropriate tees/clothing" but last weekend while in line for Green Lantern I couldn't help but notice a gentleman with the slogan "I DON'T GIVE A F*CK" (not bleeped) on the back of his tee. It was clear as day so don't know how anyone missed it. Personally not offended but I thought it was funny to see after hearing stories of folks getting kicked out...

Where should we eat at these Penn. Parks?

I'll co-sign on Chickie & Pete's. It's a local Philly place and while I've never had it at a theme park its pretty great. The crab fries are legendary for a reason, try them. -

Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread

My sister and bro-in-law are in Cincinatti for business and had a free day so on a whim stopped at Kings Island this morning. Bro-in-law has been sending me messages and pics all morning so far. They've already done Banshee and loved it and are off to do Diamondback and Beast and whatever else. Needless to say I'm beyond jealous as I sit at the office juggling phones and shuffling paperwork. :/ -
Its funny because Ive been to the park twice since the talk on here about the rattling C train and I have yet to experience it. I have been paying attention to what train we've been on but I've been lucky enough to not get it. I almost *want* to ride it just to see what everyone is talking about haha. Is it just in the back? I usually try to sit there unless its a particularly long wait.

I'm sure Philly has been posted but I have yet to post in this thread and just came across this awesome photo looking right up Broad Street through South Philly up to the center city skyline. I was born and raised here and I love my city.

What is your local park?

50 minutes to SFGAdv, 90 minutes to Morey's, an hour to Dorney. -
Agree 100%. It is part of the reason I have always avoided it. That and convincing myself it would be uncomfortable. Re: the line - I only rode it the first time at Coasters After Dark since the park was empty and we literally walked onto the front row. Then this past Sunday I did it twice and only because we had a FP. Its totally worth the experience if you dont have to wait 2+ hours.

ill defiantly agree with El Toro and Nitro over Ka, but no way superman or medussa. Different strokes for different folks. Most hate on Bizarro but I absolutely love it. Its a smooth as hell coaster for having so many inversions and its well themed and just all around fun. The only downside to it are the loading times. I just recently did Superman:UF for the first time a few months ago after thinking Id hate it, and I think its one of the coolest coaster experiences I've ever had. I can't compare it to any other flyers as its the only one Ive done but it's definitely now in my top faves at the park and it has me dying to try Tatsu, etc.
