Also went to opening day yesterday from about 6-8. Crowds were light and weather was nice but colder toward closing. So everyone else mentioned the new changes for this season. Such as the metal detectors at the ticket booths now before the entrance. Security seemed to step up there game this season. A lot more presence through out the park and not letting as much slide at the metal detectors as well as new equipment. Mind Eraser got the new trains. New restaurant near mind eraser. And there also seemed to be a new alertness for dispatching rides quickly. Hopefully this lasts through out the season. New trains on Mind Eraser. When I went to ride they said the VR was down but we could still ride. New trains are still a little rough but no head banging makes for a pretty good ride. They also don't drop the floor with the new trains. New snack bar Where there used to be the fire effect on bizarro, it now shoots water Superman was only a 2 train wait at most when I was there. It was riding pretty good. Ended up getting stuck on the brake run for about 15 minutes too. Pretty empty mid way heading to the north end PSA: don't ride the sky screamer in colder weather. It's freezing at the top and the wind is so strong peoples chairs were turning all the around. I also could not feel my hands for the rest of the night. Wicked cyclone had the longest line in the park with about 30-45 minutes. But there were also only running one train. IT was running amazing. Also first back row ride and holy cow!

So the park recently has only been running one train on boulder, even on crowded days along with bad operations across most rides this year. Wild cat transfer track still isn't complete yet. Also the wildcats 2nd train is now in the infield with a car missing. Im guessing next year it will finally get those new trains.

Just want to clear somethings up. There are many waterslides that have a net covering the slide. This slide was engineered with safety and vigorously tested, which is the reason half the slide was rebuilt. A confirmed report is not out yet. Also thoughts with the family.

I feel like mean streak is too valuable to the park (despite how rough it is). I could see a remake of the ride wether its by RMC or GCI.

Im happy to see a re-themeing rather than taking the ride down. Im just not the biggest super hero fan. I hope they don't take out hollywood land for the Marvel area. Also a little sad to see DCA losing a scary-ish ride.

Seems like a nice park. Any idea what company owns it? Or if it is a family park?

well the park did change owners a few years ago back to the original owners, then changed the name to action park for about 2 seasons, guess it was just for publicity. But I liked the Action Park name better.

Does anyone know if i can use a six flags season pass from another park for discounts here, like bring a friend free? Or any other ticket discounts?

That won't happen due to safety requirements if 2 trains collide. This is the same reason that Thorpe park removed the backwards rows on The Swarm.

Its hard to see from the pics but did they change the transportation system in the station from the chain lift to tire drive with the new trains?

I haven't really heard a lot about this but does anyone know how long this project is going to take? I really like it but it feels weird closing several rides for that long.

Heading there Saturday and I'm not sure how crowds are going to be with this warm weather. Is fast pass still available?
