  1. Arbys, I don't think Taco Bell uses real meat. Would you rather pay for a fluffy, fluffy bunny with medicine and goo, or have all of your possessions stolen?
  2. I feel like this will be from Vekoma since it's a Cedar Fair park. [EDIT] I tried to make a Cedar Fair version of Valley Hills' logo. It turned out to be awful. I'm sorry:
  3. ^ I don't know, but apparently the general public didn't like it because of the negative background of the name. I'm assuming they announced it as Banshee, and when there was backlash about the name, they changed it to Mantis.
  4. Man, I haven't been to Cedar Point since 2008. I was there when DT and Wildcat were still running. I couldn't get my TTD or my Maverick credit because I was below the height requirement I got my MF credit though! I hope you enjoy it!
  5. I wonder if Mantis has those colors because it was supposed to be 'Banshee'. But the name changed at the last minute and the colors stayed the same. I mean, B&M paints their track before delivering it (actually, every company does that), so they just got stuck with the colors.
  6. After reading your comment about Diamondback, I'm wondering if I'm denying if Goliath at SFOG is better than Intimidator
  7. I just started reading, and I already love the park!
  8. I need to ride El Toro or Voyage. I've never been on a top-10 woodie before
  9. I had a dream that I232 had just a Wild Mouse car, and that it derailed on the second hill. Either it derailed, or I came out of the lap bar, I can't remember which. Either way, I flew off the track and avoided death by waking up. Lol.
  10. ^Jesus Christ, I'll pay for the pass! I wonder what colors the RMC track will be. Blue and Red, possibly?
  11. I'm loving this report! Good to hear about Lightning Run and Banshee. Seems like the Midwest has all the glory this year. BUT NEXT YEAR, IT SHALL BE THE SOUTHEAST'S! MUHAHAHA!
  12. I didn't find Apollo's Chariot to be that forceful, so I must have sat in the middle. If you're looking for a fun ride, but not one that's too intense, sit in the middle of AC. I didn't get to ride the back Griffon is not a starter ride. It's fun, but I do not recommend it for starters. If your daughter (or niece, whoever this young girl is) is tall enough to ride each coaster, and wants to do each coaster, work your way up: 1. Lochness Monster 2. Verbolten 3. Apollo's Chariot 4. Alpengeist 5. Griffon. Alpengeist isn't for starters either. Ow.
  13. I have an idea where riders go on a drop/dark ride. You go inside of a tower, and shoot at visuals of a 3d screen, and move up higher for each level. Then, at the climax of the story, the riders face some final boss before dropping back down. Wow, looking back at this, I think I just stole kinda Guardian's concept. Lol.
  14. If theme parks were restaurants: Herschel = Chick Fil-A (Even though some of the things Mr. Truett Cathy said are pretty bad, these restaurants have good service). Cedar Fair = Taco Bell (They may not have a very good selection, but they do know customer service). Six Flags = Mall Food Court (There may be a few good places, but overall, it's dirty, and the workers treat you like crap).
  15. Stories like these at Six Flags make me really appreciate those employees that are just begging to take my picture at a Cedar Fair park. I don't want to have my picture taken, but at least they are friendly about it. I have a new-found respect for picture-takers.
  16. I wouldn't be surprised to hear if a larger person was booed out and had to do the walk of shame. Terrible service.
  17. A billion dollars. Then I could buy the theme park! Before I say my question, I think there's already a 'would you rather' thread. Would you rather pay $10.00 for good food in a theme park, or pay $2.00 for Taco Bell?
  18. ^I'm not saying Cedar Fair is rude, I just think that they could improve their customer service. I might be a little biased though. Carowinds is my home park. I love it to death. And a majority (90%) of the ride ops and staff are pretty nice. But then there's that 10% that could do their jobs a little better. I don't expect the ride ops to go above and beyond to be friendly, I just want enjoy my visit at the park. [Edit] looking back on my last post, decent is probably the wrong word. Let's just say 'good'. Lol.
  19. ^Cedar Fair is decent at best. If you want friendliness, go to a Herschel Park like Dollywood or SDC.
  20. Does the drop track on Verbolten count? Or does it have to be a traditional drop? If it counts, Verbolten.
  21. What theme makes for a good dark ride in your opinion? Personally, I think Attack on Titan would make a great theme, but I doubt any parks in the U.S. would build one.
