What I think RMC could do is topper track the coaster all the way, but have steel beams under the track during the launch and regular wood the rest of the way.

Nice report. I do think the park should focus more on flat rides. The park is good, but I feel it's moving too fast just in a 5 year period. Maybe add another medium-sized coaster in 3 years.

Well you have to remember, CP is the chain's flagship park, and lately they've focused on adding big ride at other parks in the chain. The last big ride at the park was Gatekeeper, along with a few minor additions here and there. But I think they should start focusing on Valleyfair and WoF. Knotts also needs a big coaster, and a hyper would be good for the park. CGA seems like another great place to market, especially with the 49ers being right across the street. While Carowinds is my home park, after 2016 CF needs to start focusing on its less noticed parks.

At least California will get some airtime....... Lol

I loved the elephant ears at Cedar Point (not sure if they sell them anymore?). Any theme park funnel cake is a good funnel cake. I loved the Cinnamon pretzel bites from Pretzels and Beer at BGW. I need to try the food at Harmony Hall at my home park.

Anyone who's been on Griffon knows how awesome dive coasters are. Shot in the dark, but what if the park got a racing-launched Wing coaster? think Thunderbird x2.

I fell in love with Apollo's Chariot upon arriving at the park. It's so beautiful, and even though it's shorter than most B&M Hypers, it just looks massive. Unfortunately, I got stuck in the middle of the train Still makes it into my top 10.

I think now after a few years, there are a few people who'd pick Cedar Fair. I mean, look what they did to Kings Island: they installed Diamondback and Banshee in the 6 years since this thread went dead. Canada's Wonderland had Vortex and a few decent rides, but then they added Behemoth and Leviathan and now it's a destination park. Kings Dominion installed I305, one of the world's best steel coasters. Carowinds installed Intimidator and soon, the park will see the world's tallest and fastest giga coaster. I think both are great companies with amazing rides, but Cedar Fair has a slight edge with their customer service. I might pick Six Flags just because of the RMCs.

Do they have to be out already? Mine are Fury 325 and Thunderbird. Fury is just massive. It has some nice looking overbanks, and the color scheme.... I want to have that coaster's child! Thunderbird looks great! Glad to see B&M stepping into the launch game and I hope more coasters come out like it. Other than B:TR, I kinda knew what to expect from Six Flags' new coasters. Don't get me wrong, they look amazing, but everyone knew what SFMM and SFNE were getting. I will say though, I do love Wicked Cyclone's color scheme. I really want to get on the Beast at night, it seems like an incredible experience and I need to get up to KI soon.

Would a launched woodie be possible? Or would it put too much stress on the wood? If it can be done, RMC is the company to call.

^The fact that Rougarou is the french-canadian word for werewolf makes me think that it will be used in the future for Canada's Wonderland. We're still left in the dark about this. I wonder what's going on at Cedar Point. Maybe the ride will be tall as a mountain. I don't think it will be a large addition with Gatekeeper being the guardian of the gate. Trolololol

WELP, today is Skyrider's final day. Who's going to the park to ride it?

I think next year's addition will be floorless trains and a new color scheme for Mantis. I don't think the park will add a dark ride.

Darkastle is my favorite dark ride, and apart from walls and the haunted trees, there isn't that much scenery. But the 3D is so realistic. If Six Flags puts something into the park just as good or better, it will be a winner for sure!

With the success of Lightning Run, I think we'll see more Hyper GTX's popping up around the country before we ever see a mega-lite.
