There will not be a casino AND a theme park. Would it be feasible to have a Casino and a waterpark? Maybe a waterpark possibly as part of the hotel? I mean as is the way that property is situated with the road down the middle, assuming they keep the road as is, building a hotel and casino on one side and keeping the water park on the other side might now be a bad idea. I could see a standalone water park being more profitable than a full theme park anyways.

^In their defense 95% of the teams in America would go 0-3 against that schedule, that stretch is no joke.

The flavor was great, even though I cooked it on my super awesome Big Green Egg the recipe is simple enough that it could easily be cooked on any old grill and probably in the oven even. Yeah, artery clogging is right, but I've seen some good looking "Fatty" recipes online that don't have the bacon and was basically just a log of sausage stuffed with peppers and onions that looked really good as well. I've even seen some that were just sausage no filling that looked good too, so you can make one that is slightly less artery clogging if you're afraid of the real thing !

This thing almost looks more impressive being demolished than it ever did in operation! -
I had to share this from over at Grantland courtesy of John Brandon, it's just about the best description I've read of what's going on in the SEC in relation to the current dominance of Alabama and emergence of Texas A&M. www.grantland.com/story/_/id/8549470/notre-dame-oklahoma-georgia-florida-west-virginia-woes I'm not an Alabama fan by any means, but I love how they play football.

My father was a huge card collector growing up in the 60's and 70's and it was a hobby that he tried to pass on to my brother and I. We never got nearly as into as he was but he did buy both of us complete sets of Topps Baseball Cards every year from when we were born until we were like 8 or 9, so I've got complete sets of cards from every year starting in 1984- 1993ish that have never been opened and I have no idea what is inside them. At one point I thought they would be worth a lot of money or something when I was older but seems like the card industry has died significantly over the years, so now there are just fun collectibles to me. But my dad on the other had has tons of mint condition vintage cards of just about everyone famous ball from his era, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Cy Young, Pete Rose, 6 McGuire Rookie cards, and who knows what else. He don't do much with them, sometimes will give cards of childhood favorites to friends as gifts, but all in all it's a pretty cool collection. The prize of his collection is probably an autographed ball and picture of Willie Mays making the famous "catch" from the 1954 World Series, it's always a nice conversation piece when he has company.

What does everyone think about Notre Dame at Oklahoma this weekend? I think Oklahoma as a 10 point favorite is a little high because honestly I don't think Notre Dame or Oklahoma are either that good. We'll see, should be an exciting game regardless. Florida Georgia is this weekend in my neck of the woods and the crazies have already started to roll in from sticks and swamps, the RV lot was probably full yesterday. I'm fairly impartial to the rivalry, but have gone to the game the past few years and it is seriously one of the best atmosphere's I've ever been around for a sporting event anywhere, and by best I mean an absolute drunk fest and tailgating as far as the eye can see around what is usually decent football game. Florida is probably the better team, but in a game like this all bets are off and I wouldn't be surprised if Georgia won to make things interesting in the SEC East (then again if Florida wins by 20 I won't be surprised either).

TPR Cruises the Disney Fantasy!
Hilltopper39 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm not really a "beach person" either but the private Island day on my RCCL cruise was the highlight of that trip and Disney's island looks even better! I seriously need to take a Disney Cruise in the very near future, these reports have officially pushed that vacation to the top of my next trip list! (You guys should get some kind of commission for selling cruises for Disney!). -
I kind of wish they wouldn't release the BCS rankings until later in the season, I mean seriously at this point they don't matter at all. There is so much football left to be played that the BCS rankings right now are about as useless as preseason rankings.

Amazing footage Robb, seriously the best footage I've seen of an S&S 4D. I still have no idea what these things really do but your video makes it a little bit clearer! Pretty crazy looking rode, glad to hear it's not nearly as brutal as the one at Fuji-Q. I didn't have a chance to comment about it in the forums yet, but that B&M flyer looks incredible. I'm glad they finally built a "custom" flyer with some elements other than a pretzel loop and the flat spins. I think the Manta/Superman layout is a bit boring and feel like the flyer concept has a lot more potential, hopefully a crazy custom flyer gets built in America sometime soon. -
^ I was just about to post about political Facebook comments a few minutes ago, I'm tired of reading them at this point, and most of them are really getting on my nerves. I find it humorous that the people on my news feed that are starting these "political" fights are generally too dumb to even have an educated opinion to begin with. Even though everyone in this country has the right to vote, sometimes I think that everyone should have to pass some sort of competency test before they are allowed to exercise that right. If you can't successfully construct a complete sentence with proper spelling and grammar in your Facebook political argument then you shouldn't be allowed to vote in the first place.

Ask and you shall receive!!! A few weekends ago I finally got around to "smoking a fatty" for the first time and it was one of the best tasting things I have ever cooked. A Sausage fatty is basically a log of ground sausage stuffed with various ingredients (or not), wrapped in bacon (or not), then smoked for a few hours. I had seen several recipes for various different types of fatty's on some different Green Egg Forums, and after seeing them on a couple of different BBQ shows I decided I had to give one a try. For my first fatty I stuck to something simple, hot breakfast sausage, stuffed with bacon and cheese, then wrapped in bacon. So here is a "fatty" I smoked, and hold onto to your cholesterol level cause it's about to get real.......... Start with a pound of regular hot breakfast sausage As much as it pains me to use any product from the state of Tennessee, this is decent breakfast sausage (Go Kentucky) Next, I put the sausage into a 1 gallon zip lock bag and flattened it out into a flat sheet Here is the 1 lb of sausage pressed flat I used a sharp knife to cut the bag open the bag and remove the top layer of plastic. Started adding in cheeses, here we have some Boars Head Chipolte Gouda Here is some mozzarella, Swiss, cheddar, parmesan, basically any type of cheese I could find in the fridge. Finally added in some cooked bacon, and Italian spices. Next, I prepared a bed of bacon, such a magical creation. I rolled up the sausage and cheese stuffing into a log and placed it in the center of the bacon lattice And wrapped the bacon around and secured it in a few places with some toothpicks Brushed the outside of the log of calorie filled awesomeness with a little bbq sauce and some rub and we're ready for the egg I didn't take any pictures of the grill set up but used the indirect cooking method with the plate setter installed feet side up and a drip pan under the fatty to catch the drippings (and there were a lot!). The fatty on the egg, smoked it over indirect heat with hickory wood chips at 300 degrees for about 2 hours. Panorama of the meat laboratoty A few hours later around 160-170 degrees internal temp and we are all done! The internal temp was pretty hard to read because the sausage layer after I rolled it up was so thin, I probably cooked it a bit longer than was necessary but oh well. Slice this bad boy open and we are ready to eat! Some good smoke color on the meat, but who cares, there is pork and cheese stuffed pork, wrapped in pork! I served the slices on some frozen biscuits I baked and it was a great combination! One last look at the amazing log of pork, not a dish I can cook every day but certainly a crowd pleaser! The flavor on this thing was seriously amazing, I'm dying to try another one with some different ingredients. For next time the step with the zip lock bag probably isn't necessary, you can probably just roll it out by hand and get similar results just fine. I also think that using a little more than one pound of sausage would help hold the stuffing inside a bit better, my log was pretty thin when I rolled it out and I think a lot of the cheese actually melted and fell out. I also sliced the thing right away after I pulled it off the egg, but the slices I tried a few hours later had a better texture, next time I'll let the thing site about an hour before serving. I'm all ready coming up with some ideas for new recipes, maybe use some chorizo with peppers and onions, could do a pepperoni mushrooms and swiss with some marinara sauce for a pizza fatty, maybe a mild Italian sausage stuffed with some provolone, salami, and olive salad for an Italian hoagie fatty, maybe something really cool I haven't even though of yet! Bottom line is anything wrapped in sausage and bacon probably won't suck! Thanks for reading!

Come on guys, don't give up hope, Casino's need roller coasters and wave pools too! Gambling has been a hot topic in Kentucky for a long time now and there has always been a big push to get slots and some other casino gaming legalized at the horse tracks to boost revenues and compete with tracks in other states. I know that a few tracks in KY now have these horse racing "slot machines" called gaming machines where basically the outcomes of previous horse races are loaded into these machines that you play like a slot machine and you win if you draw the winning horse, "instant racing" is a term I have seen used before (basically a way for the horse racing commission to add slots without getting approval from the government). There is a lot of money that gets spent every year at casinos just over the border in Cincinnati and Indiana that could very well stay in KY if the casino's get legalized, and having a giant shiny new facility on state owned property seems like a perfect way to take that first step.

^^Okay, yeah yeah there wasn't that much but there is probably a ride sign or something that needs to be replaced and some brown that needs to be painted yellow and green! Give me a break, I'm just trying to find a way to justify animatronic fire breathing giraffe's!
