I wonder if there are any future plans to build a separate parking lot near the water park where the existing employee lot/bone yard is? Also, I wish one water park would build a full sized "amusement park" style water ride in the water park that you can ride in bathing suits. How awesome would a full sized river rapids ride or log flume or super splash be in a bathing suit while your in the water park? Not to mention that those rides are capacity monsters, someone just do it already!

Wow, freaking amazing. After seeing this it just gives more and more hope that a similar upgrade might one day take place on rides like mean Streak, Ghost Rider, Voyage, etc.

Yeah, you know I truly believe that the NCAA plays favorites and they have programs they want to penalize harder than others (USC is certainly one of them). I don't think Texas A&M is on their "hit list" so they handled this quickly and quietly. How else can you explain other investigations that have taken several months (Enes Kanter @ Kentucky) or even years (Miami) to be unresolved or resolved with no level of consistency with previous cases, yet with Manziel as a high profile star they complete their investigation and settle in a matter of a few weeks conveniently 4 days before the season starts....yeah ok. Anyways, season starts tonight with North Carolina and South Carolina being the marquee match up. Bad news for North Carolina but it looks like the weather in Columbia is going to be Clowney with a chance of pain...........

Can't wait to see the details on the park, I wonder what new slides they will get. The more I think about it it's kind of amazing that they haven't had an on site water park all of these year considering how popular water parks have become and how much of a money maker they seem to be. I assume that given the location this park will only be accessible through the main park unless they decide to build a new parking lot or something.

Okay after re-watching the POV that zero-G stall things looks insane! And the way that it's kind of hidden in the structure is really going to surprise a lot of riders. Also, the first 1/4 to 1/2 of the layout or so looks just like Goliath at Magic Mountain. Drop, tunnel, turn, air time hill, and then it gets crazy.

It does look a little short in length, but my god there is some crazy stuff packed into that layout. Can't wait to try this thing one of these days, my possible trip to Chicago late next summer just got that much more interesting!

I was thinking about that as well. The fact that they did suspend him for a portion of a game might mean that there is some sort evidence to support that he did somehow violate NCAA rules, maybe not to the extreme extent that he would be indefinitely suspended, but he probably did something wrong. However, with the amount of criticism that the NCAA has received recently it is probably in everyone's best interest that that the handle it privately and with a minimum suspension. I mean think about it, if they did sit him for the whole season and the evidence was questionable, Texas A&M and the SEC might have gone absolutely ballistic on the NCAA especially if the ruling wasn't consistent with preceding rulings over a similar events ( ie Ohio State). If there's one thing the NCAA loves it's money, and with Manziel on the field week 3 against Alabama there will be more of it for everyone than there would be if he were sitting at home, simple as that in my opinion.

Is it possible that this isn't a relocation from SFGAM but instead a new Zamperla spinning mouse coaster from all together? Seems kind of odd that Great America would remove the only centerpiece attraction of their Mardi Gras section and not some of the other flats as well.

That color scheme looks a lit better in person than it did in the animation, I like it! I bet this thing will go up fast, I wouldn't be surprised if they have all of the track installed before Christmas. Say what you will about B&M but they're usually pretty good when it comes to having their rides ready for opening day.

It's hard to get a good idea of the size and scale from the pictures but the complex in general looks crazy! Can't wait to see this thing in action.
