  1. 2015 Operating Schedule has been posted. Opening Day is May 15th, first night of Haunt is September 25th, and Closing Day is November 1st.
  2. Cedar Fair has never bought a TOGO. They were all acquired through the Paramount buyout.
  3. Granted, but only one TPR member shows up. I wish for a trip to Europe to ride their coasters.
  4. The Super Bowl is on right now, and personally, I could care less.
  5. ^ Correct. < Likes scrambled eggs. V Has ridden an RMC.
  6. ^ I believe it was both Wild Thing's loud mid-course brakes and being out of code that led to the amphitheater's demise, although I really can't blame them for those noise problem because before Wild Thing was built, they probably had no idea that the MCBR would be so loud (after all, it was Morgan's first coaster). A coaster in that spot that would interact with Wild Thing is actually a neat idea, just not sure how it would work.
  7. I don't think a new amphitheater is a necessity becauase there are several other decent spaces in the park for live entertainment. valleyfairfanatic said a while back that the rumor among employees is that the parking lot cones are where a new ride(s) could possibly go. Of course, it's just a rumor, but it seems like the logical place to put in something major without removing any other attractions.
  8. Both had wooden coasters. Six Flags St. Louis and Geauga Lake.
  9. I still think a B&M invert is more likely than an SLC because even though Cedar Fair did directly purchase CP's Woodstock Express and WOF's Boomerang, those rides were bought in 1999 and 2000 respectively, and Cedar Fair probably realized that Vekoma's coasters are inferior to other models (for the most part). If Valleyfair got an SLC with the newer trains, then it might be okay, but I think an invert is more likely right now.
  10. Granted, but you lose the discs that you backup your computer with, and you get a virus that deletes everything. I wish for more time to sleep.
  11. ^ Wasn't suggesting that we'll get a clone of Talon or Afterburn, it's just that those are examples of inverts that are small but still intense (at least from what I've heard). Unfortunately, if Cedar Fair decided to give VF a clone of something, I fear that it would be the three letters we all hate: SLC.
  12. ...he told them to rename Maverick Striker to a non-animal related name to get PETA off their backs, so they did just that, but PETA was still angry at them, so a group of them went to CGA 2 and destroyed the entire park. After that happened...
  13. Granted, but all of the good coasters will be broken down, and the coasters that will be open will have long lines, slow ride ops, and one-train operations. I wish for my local radio station to play a wider variety of songs.
  14. Well, I was going to go to Nickelodeon Universe today, but something has come up and I'll have to postpone until next weekend. Oh well, as long I can go eventually, I'll be okay.
  15. Granted, but you will in a town that's far away from any amusement parks and good snowboarding places. I wish my trip to Nickelodeon Universe today hadn't gotten postponed.
  16. As long as there is still a thrilling first drop, I wouldn't mind a Great Bear-style start to an invert. Hopefully it would be a forceful one because Valleyfair needs another intense coaster. The only coaster in the park that is all-around intense is Renegade (Steel Venom and Wild Thing do have their moments though), and it would be nice to have another one. Dave Frazier did say that VF won't be getting a Banshee-sized invert, but that's okay because he didn't say no invert whatsoever. An invert the size of Talon or Afterburn would work just fine.
  17. A few inches of snow tonight. Why can't spring come faster?
  18. Granted, but your computer will get several other viruses. I wish for Rougarou to run without the trim on the drop.
  19. Granted, but you learn how to program the wrong way. I wish for short lines at Nickelodeon Universe this weekend.
  20. The crane is gone, so I think it's finally done.
  21. Whoops, jumped the gun again. Sorry about that.
  22. Slide tower construction has gone vertical. From Dave Frazier's Twitter.
