Say what you will about the name (at least it doesn't include the word "coaster" in the name), but that image is straight outta fright fest. But at the same time, it's all like: Don't mind me, I'm just flossing my eyes out with this steroid-infused Larson Looper.

Sounds like bad news is coming to the Orlando park as it seems like the Paratrooper is moving to the recently acquired Fun Junction USA. But on the flipside, it appears it will be replaced by one of those inverting frisbees. I just hope the paratrooper stays open in Orlando through March 9th.

I'm thinking it might be a typo as it is the only ride on the scheduled maintenance calendar to have multiple times on it (with 3). But I would recommend messaging the park to be sure. The only times I know of when the park didn't follow the scheduled maintenance calendar were when something catastrophic happened to the ride or a similar attraction (ie the Ohio State Fair incident). Hopefully it's open for your visit. It's a fun little coaster that gives a great "tour' of the park and the inner workings of the log flume. And if you really want to see Target Field, they do offer backstage tours.

Fun Spot Orlando in three weeks. The resort I'm staying at is literally right next door (requested a view of the park), so I will be marathoning White Lightning all week.

I'm sure they do, but they don't advertise it. When I visited the Kissimmee location last March, the Larson Flying Scooters were undergoing maintenance. On another note, I'm surprised the Kissimme location has yet to reopen their S&S Screaming Swing after it was decided to relocate it to accommodate Mine Blower.

Gives me that much more reason to sleep in. I'm going to be spending three days at the park, so it's not like I need to rope drop it. But it's good to know that I can still exit through the south gate. If we're gonna talk about the park adding in a GCI, let's look at something we know will be leaving within 36 months: Dinosaurs Alive.

So I plan on taking my first trip to the park this summer. Plan: fly into CLT, take cab to hotel across the street, hoof it to and from the park each day (unless there's a shuttle), enter/exit through the south gate. In the likely event of walking to/from the park each day, how often is the south gate open? I remember reading that it's only open on select days, but wanted to confirm.

Valleyfair's 2011 Planet Snoopy Expansion cost $9 million. Which included several new rides/attractions, the retheming of several others, and the overall beautification of the area. It's a lot better than it was prior.

Actually, I heard there was a group of skaters who got offended the park used the word "Twisted" in the name. The skaters felt like they were being singled out, and picked on. So the park is currently looking to rename it. Captain Planet and the Planeteers are also quite perturbed that they're using the word "Timbers." Save the trees, ya'll!

Grand
