  1. I found that old patent while browsing fortuitously the Internet: A carousel and an arcade game at the same time!
  2. Did you watch the video?
  3. Look at that POV of Mystery Mine, even if you know the ride... Second lift: [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  4. May I repost my POV took last year, because TPR's one cleary doesn't show how rough the ride is: This was taken with the GoPro chesty, and see how shaky it is! Beside the vibrations, the top of the inversions are taken way too quickly, making some bad postive g forces. I don't expect the retraking to take this ride from worst to best, but wait and see, maybe this... thing will be ridable again.
  5. This ad was on TV back in 2007. There was a making-of but sadly the link is dead.
  6. - First airtime hill on EGF for its perfect balance of length/strength. or - First airtime hill on Shambhala for its looooong seconds of awesome floating.
  7. Bobbejaanland had one back in time : For the future, I'd like to see my concept get to life..!
  8. Yes, or prototype, like the Thrill-lift, which was a Stengel design if my memory's good.
  9. Crossing the track require a lot of caution... Even with the smallest coaster.
  10. I don't think the theming will change at all. I'd be glad if all the effects could work at first.. In Discoveryland, there's also Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast that's not Jules Verne related. Really, the update is because more and more people report roughness. The GP doesn't really care about Jules Verne, sadly... Myself, I'd love to see a kind of prequel. Back to a darker steampunk theme.. And a zero-g at the top ! (Hulky-liky!) But once again, nor the theming or the layout will change.
  11. According to DCP (Disney Central Plaza), Space Mountain will get new trains for 2013!
  12. A silly question to S&S.. lol Why you stole my idea?!! (scroll until the drawing)
  13. S&S, why you stole my idea?! (scroll until the drawing)
  14. Gerstlauer : How near/far are your designing software compared to Newton²? (Yeah, I really want to know! Hope my english's good enough for you to understand, I'm not sure of the formulation.)
  15. Exactly what my question was..! Question to Gravity Group : When designing a dueling, do you design one track then the other ; or both at the same time?
  16. S&S : Will you extend the "El Loco" line with other layouts?
  17. Ok thanks! Good news! I guess that means the second launch will be faster and stronger!
  18. What? What's your source? Actually I don't see how, by changing two elements, it can affect the final speed. I mean, it's not shorter than the previous layout. Can you tell us more, please?
  19. 2nd question (i'll ask it to every compagnies!): How much Newton² is accurate beside your own designing software(s)?
  20. Does your designing software(s) is/are kind of compatible with NoLimits? It seems the simulations and the real rides are highly accurate.
  21. I have two good news for you guys! First, Oziris seems to run faster and smoother as the trains get revised. Potionmagix, a guy who work at its maintenance, say the speed can be very different from a day to another. They recently putted some nylon wheels, and he said if you have a warm day, OzIris can be a lot faster. Second, Potionmagix (again) is a good guy. Thanks to him, you can see how to start a B&M on video! Three parts are already out, the 4th is coming soon. Part 1 (operator booth) Part 2 (daily tests 1) Part 3 (daily test 2) Its in french, it got a lot of french references or some intrusions you may not catch, but it really worth a view! Don't be afraid to ask if you don't understand a part of the video.
  22. Here's the link to the news you talk about. They used this video : Hope the guy will be fine, though.
  23. ^ True, true. Anyways, new video of the cars testing. I hope it's gonna be more interesting by time, because it seems to be a tad mild right now.
