Coasters In Need Of Paint
Token Yankee Guy replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Twister II may have a newly replaced turn that hasn't been painted. But it's nothing compared to this coaster. Source: http://www.rcdb.com/ig180.htm?picture=12 Cyclone at Six Flags New England Keep in mind, the new drop hasn't seen a drop of paint since 2001. Nor has the rest of the coaster. -

^^ HOLY CR*P!!! Look at that bend on that coaster!!! It's almost completely vertical! I am going to e-mail my Dad some of these pictures and demand that we visit Mount Olympus in the Dells when we go up to Wisconsin. -
Abandoned Amusement Parks
Token Yankee Guy replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
www.defunctparks.com Great database of defunct parks. Most of the parks don't contain photos or anything, just the name. But for parks like Idora, Rocky Point, Mountain Park (A few that come to my head) should be listed with pictures and information and links to other sites for additional information. I too have a thing for defunct parks, my roommate actually wants to film a movie in a defunct park and he mentioned Mountain Park so I'm going to take him there if we get permission and he wants to do it since the park is only in Holyoke, Mass. Not too far from my house. Craiggers "Always wanted to run wild in a defunct park and check one out" K. -

SFNE - Hurricane Harbor. Thats the closest water park to me and the only one I go to. Great selection of slides with the first Tornado for Six Flags and the first Typhoon water coaster for Six Flags. We also got two wave pools. Craiggers "SFNE's Hurricane Harbor ownzs all of the rest" K. -

^ You and me both sister. I love the Q-Bot and I put it to full use at SFNE and we got it also at SFGAdv back in 2003 and it was worth it. This season when I hit up SFGAdv I am most defenently getting a Q-Bot gold because I don't feel like waiting in a 3+ hour line for KK and waste my day in lines after driving 4hrs to the park. If KK were at my homepark, I probably wouldn't get the Q-Bot since the park is 20 minutes from my house. -

You see this banner for 96.5 WTIC. Well, I got it up here in Bangor, Maine. I went to my sisters room and she said, "you wouldn't believe the gift I got you." and she pulled out the banner and I said, "where did you get it!" and she said, "in the trash can in the lobby" or something. Craiggers "Ones mans trash is another mans treasure" K. P.S. 96.5 TIC is my favorite station in Connecticut -

ROFL, I have yet to see that sign near Knoebels about Jesus. Good TR Derek. I can't wait to get back down to Pennsylvania and hit up Knoebels, maybe you can meet up with a group I might bring down. Craiggers "Jesus Lightning!" K. -

^^ I take it by watching the video, people ignore the sign that says "do not whip the flyers"? -

We got a spare room you can move into Elissa. You'd be on the East coast and about 4hrs from Knoebels. BTW, great TR. I can't wait to go back to Knoebels this year. -

^ How many days of testing do they need to do in KK? Also on a side note, I had a dream that I was about to ride Kingda Ka, but something prevented me from getting on the train so I was mad. -

Ok, so I got a call from the psychics today, they told me that the wife had a vision during meditation of me and the Hindenburg. She said she saw me as a steward on the the fateful flight and that before the flight, I was afraid of going on but something made me go on the flight. So I did some research and found the crew/passenger list. All 97 people. Turns out a lot of people managed to survive the crash, but out of the seven stewards that was listed....only one died. http://www.nlhs.com/passenger-list.htm The only steward that died was Max Schulze. It's odd and I partly believe it since I do believe in past lifes and life after death so....it's interesting. -

What are you doing on a saturday evening?
Token Yankee Guy replied to Hattuchili's topic in Random, Random, Random
I'm pretty much banned from my room until 7. Roommate is currently spending "quality" time with his g/f in our room. So I've been spending the day with my sister and her b/f and gang. -

ugh, today was boring and annoying. First off, I've been having a migrane or a sinus headache all day today thanks to my damn nose. And secondly, my left button on my mouse started to not register the clicks so I would have to press down hard on the button to get it working, so i go and open it up and check it out...When I put it back together it clicked fine, but now when I plugged it in....left button does not work. So I had to switch the buttons controls so I can operate a left click on the right button. Talk about aggrivating. -
Weird California weather...
Token Yankee Guy replied to Angry_Gumball's topic in Random, Random, Random
Two days ago we had sunny 70 degree weather, then that night the temperatures droped below 32 so we went from raining, to freezing rain, to a dusting of snow. Now it's about mid-50's and windy and I'm running around in a t-shirt. -

Bangor has a mental Institute up on the hill. Surprisingly, I hear it's a really nice place. Craiggers "I never ventured up the hill yet since I don't know what street to take" K.
