Windows Live????
Token Yankee Guy replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^^ If that is the same dimensions of Diablo Falls that SFNE will be getting from SFAW. It looks a lot longer than the footprint of PSP, yet thinner for width. If they build it, I hope they build a midway path around the other side of Colossus. -
Hershey Parks's hottest attraction.....The Roller soaker? Bull, yeah it's ok, but I wouldn't consider it a hot attraction. And they can't consider it the Extreme East w/o talking about Superman: Ride of Steel at SFNE. Yeah, no coaster TV program has ever talked about SFNE's superman and I find that a bit offensive.

Those are some great photos! I really like the cityscape ones you did. -
^ Hahaha, that was good.

We probably got around 3 inches. Bangor only got hit by the side of the storm, not the full-blown thing sadly

Depends on when they took the pictures. Same thing happens when you change the view of SFNE from north to south. The 2003 waterpark expansion vanishes. -
Windows Live????
Token Yankee Guy replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I would, because I didn't think the Local Live thing overall didn't relate to theme parks even though I put pictures of SFNE up as an example of what their new features can do. How about we merge the two threads? -
Rendering takes too long....

I wish too, all of connecticut's aerial images are from the early 90's on the site. I wish they would update that and put in the bird's eye view. -

^ Yeah, I quickly realized I forgot the link when I posted, so I included the link in the first post. -
I was browsing Microsofts Virtual Earth and I noticed they updated their aerial imagery, and they added this really neat feature which puts all other online aerial maps to shame. And that's Bird's Eye View. The service is completely free and the map will tell you if the area you're looking at has the Bird's Eye feature. some area's don't, but most major cities with a recent aerial image should. Link: http://local.live.com/ Using Bird's Eye, it makes the aerial image twice as better! Typical Aerial Image of SFNE's main st

That reminds me when I had my first guniea pig, we used to set him next to our old dog luke and luke would just nudge him and let pumpkin run around on him oh man, I pass the basketball hall of fame when I go to and from college since I live 25 minutes or so south of Springfield. Now where did you bury the gerbil? Because I know the original building is still up since they built the new Basketball Hall of Fame

Who Have You Met From TPR?
Token Yankee Guy replied to PhishyBrewer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I met a good few people from the boards... Brent and Josh. (in the middle). And I also met Brian (Homey G.) and Alicia, but I didn't take pictures Ted Dave Kip, behind sean in the white shirt Don and Monica Rebecca, John, Robb, Elissa, Quaker, Max, Dave, Mary, and Sandy -
Here are my four pets. That is Xandra, We were originally a foster family for her, but she got attacked by a neighborhood dog during her placement training, so they had to drop her from the program, so we got her back and she's ours for good. That's Miss. Charline "Charlie" Chaplin Groucho Marxs . I call him Grouch sometimes since he can have an attitude. Also, he isn't related to charlie, we got them from two different places and managed to get two cats both with a mustache. This is our latest pet, my sisters cat Trixie. This was taken when we first got her, she's already full grown today.

^^ I know that the parents guniea pigs make sure their young ones are in between them when they are all walking. Like the father in front of the line, kids in the middle, and the mother in back of the line. I remember that from having a book about guniea pigs.

How did you get your screen name?
Token Yankee Guy replied to waterviper's topic in Random, Random, Random
Well, that took a while to go through 9 pages to figure out I didn't post in here since I couldn't remember. First off, I was initially the SFNE_SkycoasterFreak back on Westcoaster since I was a fanatic of the skycoaster at SFNE...who da thunk ? Until one day I IMed up Dave (Kneebush) and he called me Yankee...so I retailated with something along the lines of referring canadian to him, so that gave me the idea of calling myself Token Yankee Guy on westcoaster since I was like the only person (or one in few) from Connecticut westcoaster. So I IMed up one of the admins and originally asked him to change my group name to Token Yankee Guy, but he mistaked and changed my username to it. But I liked it so I left it. Then when TPR opened the boards I brought the Token Yankee Guy name over. And in the end, I still reign control of being the only person from Connecticut on the boards (if I'm correct). Lastly, their is historical significance behind my name, Yankee is the term used for someone from New England, and Yankee Doodle is Connecticut's State anthem -

^^ You saved me the trouble of posting my "licking the north pole" pic, Ted. -
My first guinea pig looked exactly like schmitty. I named him pumpkin and I think this back when I was in 3rd grade I believe. Then I got hershey and both hershey and pumpkin shared a cage. Pumpkin even gave up the wooden house for Hershey to have it, and when Hershey passed away, pumpkin didn't enter the house . Then when Pumpkin died I got Cleo and she passed away down the line too. And all the small pets we had (gerbils, hamsters, and guinea pigs) are all buried in our back yard next to the woods.
