  1. Todays issue of the Hartford Courant had this on the front page but it said "They're Alive" in big letters. Talk about a slap in the face about the reversal. My prayers are with those families
  2. ^ Thanks soren, in about a week or two my hair will be a bit longer so the spikes will really show as before.
  3. Day After the Storm Pictures Winter is one of my favorite seasons up in New England. When the snow falls it coats the land so nicely. And what's nice is whenever it snows, and you listen, you don't hear anything but the wind a bit and to me it's very peaceful. Today I decided to take some pics of me out and about in the snow. Looking up my street to the Cul-De-Sac Looking at my car which I need to clean off before I go to work at 5 Looking down my street That's how much snow we got so far. And it started falling last night close to midnight too. Here she is jumping to catch one Xandra tries to eat the snowballs as I make them Xandra catches a snowball in her mouth This is where the treehouse was. Back of the house Our backyard You can see how far my boots sink into the snow Xandra loves to play in the snow. Xandra is ready to go outside to play
  4. I took this last night before I got my haircut today I think this is the 2nd shirtless pic I have on here.
  5. what does 24 mean?
  6. Sorta, if you view the bird's eye view of the park in this link.. http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=42.039211~-72.615769&style=o&lvl=1&scene=2165591&sp=adr.1623%20Main%20St%2c%20Agawam%2c%20MA%2001001 ...you'll see that their is some wooded are just north of Blizzard River. I know the park plans to completely build over the park side lot, and I've also heard but not positive, but SFNE has been trying to buy out the houses just south of the park. They also supposedly purchased a tobacco field right on the Connecticut-Massachusetts state line where a overflow lot will be built. But nothing has started there.
  7. Great Pictures Teddy! I gotta get down to NYC sometime for a new years. Only 2 1/2hrs away. I take the Metro North
  8. The last update we had was back in November since not much is happening so far. I've been to the park a couple times since I've been back in Connecticut and I have not seen any new ride parts so far. They've been primarily working on the midway area getting it ready for SWAT. As for Cylones Queue House, we believe they'll modify Cyclones Queue so that they can fit in SWAT, also with the exit tunnel being completely torn down, we believe they might finally move Cyclones Exit to Cyclones Entrance. Have no idea on how the screamin swing at LC is coming along since we have no need to do updates about that park.
  9. Finally... someone came out and said it. I think she's like Craig's twin sister... I think. HAHAHA. Ok, she is actually 23, shorter than me, yes does look like me a bit, and has a b/f. Remind me never to introduce her to you guys. lol
  10. Dude, that car is so a Connecituct Car! haha Also, I got you beat for doing crazy things with little clothing in winter. Keep in mind this picture IS a few years old. I'm not as skinny now
  11. Hey now, Just being a concerned member. Who knows what could have happend to the Quaker in Tokyo. And I'm not a stalker since I've only been hanging out by his bedroom window for the past few weeks. hehe
  12. Did Mark join you guys in that last park in the photo update? I didn't see him anywhere in the pics.
  13. ^ 5th picture down you see me with the sledge hammer. And I did my fair share of work on the treehouse, it's just no one took pictures of me working.
  14. In the early afternoon of New Years Eve, my Dad wanted to tear down the tree house in our back yard that has fallen in dis-repair for the last...2-3 years. We've had it up since I was in Middle School and it was time to tear down a piece of our childhood, just like we did with the rotting swing set earlier this summer. Now for some photos the pieces of the treehouse have been piled up against the old play set in the back. This will all be taken out next summer when Dad and I re-roof our house. The first floor is all what remains Dad pulls down the last support beam Erica helps push the last of the 2nd floor down Who wants to play in the tree house!? Yes, we live on the edge of danger when it comes to these things. We were surprise the thing just didn't give way and collapse. My dad begins working on hitting the cross beams to bring down the 2nd floor Overall photo so far Erica has fun jumping on that side beam to help tear down the 2nd floor the 2nd floor floor is all what remains. Back railing has been completely taken down Erica and I begin demolition the treehouse provided a nice lookout to Pleasant View Rd One of the primary reasons why the treehouse is no longer safe. the first floor of the treehouse. Yeah we had one because our uncle was cool and helped build it for us Pre-demolition pics
  15. Hey Guys, been a while since much has happend to the park. To update you guys.. No new pieces of SWAT or Diablo Falls has arrived at the park. But there has been a lot of area preperation for SWAT up by Cyclone. Here are some pics I took today. The railings on the exit stairs are gone, also the covered walkway has been completely taken out. Looking towards Cyclone's station More of the Cyclone & Skycoaster area. Skycoasters cashier booth and preperation building have also been taken out Cyclones Queue House is gone
  16. Yeah, it was fun, the weather and snow conditions could have been a little better. But I got my moneys worth out of it.
  17. There were spots, mostly in the center of the trails where it was icy due to the grooming. So I tried skiing mostly toward the edge of the trails. Then the trails that opened later in the day had snow on them, but the snow was very gritty and golf ball size. So It wasn't crappy snow, it was ok, I can tolerate it snow
  18. If you're a resident of Southern New England (Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Mass.) and you're a skiier, then it's pretty much a tradition to go up to vermont for New England style skiing, and that's what I did today. I went up to Stratton Mountain since I haven't been there in years to do some skiing by myself. I had a great time except for the fact that towards the summit it was extremely windy and you couldn't see jack squat. During my time there two interesting events happend to me. 1) I got to visit the ski patrol after I scraped my hand after I cut a turn to quickly and fast that it caused my snowblade to pop off and made me crash and slide. 2) I got to meet a Fox News newscaster while at the lodge during lunch. She works on the Fox News 24hr news network. Now to photos. And finally, a scenic view of the region of Vermont off route VT-9 Nice, I got a trail with my name. Picture of the region taken from one of the lifts This cloud was crazy, I watched it for a while as it was doing a cyclone effect. It was like the center of the Low Pressure was right there. I'm a big fan of Most Difficult (Diamond) and Extreme (Double Diamond) trails. Glade skiing, my favorite This type of weather condition isn't for people who don't like the winter. 20-30mph winds with probably near 0 wind chill. one of the many empty trails, excellent for skiing. Weather conditions at the summit which is 3,875ft above sea level 12 persons in a sardine can Gondola At the base of Stratton Mountain. Notice the low weather system. Pretty much from that point to the summit it was constant wind and you couldn't see much Most highways in Northern New England are like this. Vast nothing. Welcome sign on I-91 for vermont
  19. ^ *dies of laughter*
  20. We got rain last night up here . Luckly it wasn't enough to completely wash away the snow that was on the ground.
  21. Finally, I get to see you guys again and yet be very affordable for me!

Our family tradition has always been, we go to the evening church service on Christmas Eve (December 24th), which usually gets out after midnight. On Christmas morning we all wake up and sit in our usual areas in our living room and open presents one by one in a clockwise direction. Here are some pics Xandra goes to town on the candy cane Pets in our family always get a little something from Santa My present from my grandparents and uncle. A note! My Pop-Pop got some thermal underwear from my Nana My Uncle George got socks! Typical christmas present for him. heh My mother got a shaw from my grandmother (Dad's mom) Also in my present from my parents was a Stop & Shop sweater that I can wear to work during the winter. I pretty much laughed when I saw my works logo on the side. I got a computer bag for my laptop My sister got a Ski Team Coat for christmas Xandra says hello My sister Erica opening up one of her presents Our dog Xandra, always joins us for opening presents. Same thing was done with our former dog Luke. This is our Christmas Tree. And there's me wearing my cool santa hat
