  1. What do you mean it can't be called superman. Six Flags owns La Ronde, it doesn't have to be in the name. The reason they won't call it superman is because there already is a superman coaster there.
  2. But since when does there have to be a top hat for it too be the best. The air hill start looks better to me at least. Rita doesn't have any hill at all which kills it.
  3. I really hope you're just being a wiseguy.
  4. I mean really, would you rather the ride be stuck or have it not stop, crash into the next train and hurt or kill people on board? lol
  5. Well that height limit is a crock, because basically all of their coasters are over 125 feet. So they had to get a ton of variances for that.
  6. Man, I wish they'd announce this thing already. I guess after Fright Fest.
  7. Wow thats hilarious. Robb, where do you look that up? is it a website for what gives what type of rating?
  8. What do you mean by an inside Cobra Roll? I think they could pull it off.
  9. Yeah but you got the wrong definition. Prostitots are basically every teenage girl out there lol. If you look at the way they dress.
  10. Yeah but by the time you got to the end it will feel like you're gonna fall out. Its not as easy to do inversions on flyers and they haven't done more than the pretzel loop, half zero-g or barrel roll yet.
  11. Well right now the rumored height is 181 and length is rumored to be way shorter than SOB. But then again the same thing happened with KK, it turned out to be much more than what had been leaked.
  12. Well El Toro is "the bull" in Spanish and thats a Frontier themed area so it makes sense. I believe the fabrication is different because instead of layered wood with metal on top of it, the pieces are laser carved out of pieces of wood so theres less connection points and it can be bent more and heartlined. So with the layers gone, it vibrates less and feels more in control and the turns are transitioned and banked more so you don't get thrown to left or right as much.
  13. You'd think thats what would happen with Cedar Fair buying it. I mean really, even though it has all old rides, I don't think they would just let it be bulldozed. CF can probably really improve the park too.
  14. Well why can't they just have the bottom thing that wraps around without the shoulder straps? Isn't that how they re designed the restraints on SROS?, they don't have the shoulder things right?
  15. I don't think there is, they haven't even announced this yet right?
  16. For me that would be on Nitro, the bunny hills after the MCBR give a lot of airtime for me atleast. But I haven't really been on any other coasters with bunny hills.
  17. And have the only thing keep the Mississippi and Lake Ponchartrain out of the city are a levee and pump system. Its not the parks fault, I mean it was built there because people in a large area want places to go to be entertained thus they make money. Also, it looks like the themepark fared pretty well compared to the rest of the city.
  18. Whoever said yet another parking lot coaster, did you actually look at the video? It goes over a lake and there are plenty of trees all around. So, I don't know what your talking about. I mean yes it does cross an access road but theres an environment all around it.
  19. Yeah, and I don't think it looks that short, Its pretty long and its longer than the Goliath in Holland, yes I know that one isn't as tall but still.
  20. Well that was just the rendering, it will probably be better in real life. Also if B&M put in an inversion then it wouldn't be a hyper coaster. Also, this is weird, the second drop is 5 feet higher than the first drop.
  21. Has anyone found out how bad it is at the park, or have pictures?
  22. But I mean coasters are strong structures. That have to hold all that weight from the trains and they can handle winds. The wooden might be damaged a little but not that much. Its not right in New Orleans either.
  23. Well there probably is some type of insurance of them, but I mean yeah it stinks. But I mean there probably wont be damage to the tracks of the steel coasters at SFNO, but possibly the wooden coaster or the trains. There will be damaged buildings there definitely, but it wont be obliterated. It will probably be closed for awhile.
  24. And also Hong Kong is basically its own country, the only ties to China they have are diplomatic relations and they are protected by the Chinese army. But, everything else is independent, so its not really two parks in the same country. Also I think this is a good idea to give people in China the ability to go to a Disney park. Also, whats wrong with them starting with a Magic Kingdom park at each resort? I mean thats the whole point of a Disneyland to have fairytale type theme. That wouldn't be that great to have a stand alone differently themed Disney park in my opinion.
  25. Well they've already used that orange orange and greenish blue color scheme twice on the same type of ride, I hope they don't use that again.
