I found it funny that at Behemoth Bash, only the select few Canadians knew "what the hell" poutine is. Doesn't look like a spectacular park, but a good photo TR nonetheless.

At least most of our coverage is LIVE.

Photo and Video TR: Behemoth Tour and More
dandaman replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I just realized from your Elissa Bingo card picture... I got literally half of those in one day at Behemoth Bash! Great TR as usual, Erik. Nice to finally meet you in person, if only for like an entire minute out of the day. -
Photo Trip Report(s): Behemoth/ Ravine Flyer II Tour!

^^ She was getting too intimate with it, according to a sensible Canadian's eyes. -
^It's Canada's official teenage subculture experience! (And I'm at least glad someone noticed all the hard 5-minute work I put into the MHR photo. )

Mmmm... vague pizza. Hooray for the return of CWJ!

Smith FTW! There should be four medals awarded: gold for first, silver for second, bronze for third, and plywood for Canadian. Dan "Tied for 41st with zero medals!" Smith

Dang. Can't believe it's already been a week since Behemoth Bash. I think at this time last week quite a few of us were involved in the TPR takeover of Thunder Run. Memories are just better in sepia.

^Ride Minebuster in the middle of the train in a "wheel seat" and get back to me.

Yay, another Chicago outing TR! Great photos as usual, Cameron. As an aside, can you imagine a TPR takeover of a public place besides a theme park/restaurant/bar? Seeing 100 people riding their bikes with the same shirts on would make us look like a bona fide Tour de France! Dan "There's no way I can describe this without sounding like a total nerd... " Smith

I thought it was extremely smooth, considering most of my previous B&M credits actually beat me up! Those clamshell lap bars combined with the open seats were surprisingly comfortable. (Then again, compared to Minebuster, Behemoth would be smooth as Santana!)

Much like any Arrow looper, Diablo's eyes are totally burrowing into Jahan's skull. Great update, Robb! -
^^There was the expected sea of people attending the waterpark, but I think the most we waited for any slide (giant raft dipper) was 10, max 15 minutes. The enclosed slide (Black Hole?) was pretty much a walk-on; that and Barracuda Blaster totally ruled!

The Official TPR "East Coast/Behemoth Trip" Update
dandaman replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I actually only got there just as the (exclusive!) group was leaving. It seriously looked like an employee entrance with the nondescript door... is it even on the map? In the same vein, it amazed me just how much of a 'melting pot' CW is. I remember on Sunday hanging out by the boat splash and seeing people of all faiths laughing their heads off with each other on the bridge; it was a great thing in its own little way! -

Hey Jeff, The thought struck me on "The Fly" at Behemoth Bash... if we substitute your name into any John McCain joke, it'll work 90% of the time every time! EDIT: As far as DelGrosso's goes, we can see that the food division comes before the park "thanks to the World Wide Web"! http://www.delgrossos.com/ -
I took the break the same time as you did, but I went back a few extra times. Those did me in, mostly due to the factor of hunger. (The cajun fries were the only things I ate in 8 hours...) Let's just say I figured, "What the hell, let's have a marathon..." and hell had the last say! It was kind of funny trying to look for a garbage bin that the custodians hadn't emptied yet... just because I was about to lose my lunch didn't mean I had to lose my courtesy. I think I tossed right after the last lap when everyone was gathering in the plaza, but it was closer to Stunt Coaster. I remember feeling surprisingly better immediately after. That's when I took probably that ONE picture of you at the end. I had never done an event so intense (or unbelievably fun!) coaster-wise as Behemoth Bash; wasn't used to the seemingly endless ERT, I'm afraid. I recall seeing you twice throughout the day... once just after lunch, and the other I think was when you said the "coffee" line from Revenge of the Mummy on the Behemoth brake run! And I felt pretty bad about that! As soon as I found Robb & Co. I tried finding you two the rest of the time as we went around... no luck, obviously. Only way I managed to find 'em was Hanno directing me over to the slide they'd gone to a minute before. Hearing you guys talk might have been one of the funniest experiences of the day, simply because I've never heard anyone younger than me (let alone by 4 years) have that much coaster knowledge! Here's hoping I'll see you on a TPR trip in the near future! Speaking of future... thanks, Paul. As for the rest of you, thank you immensely once again!

^Cameron noticed at Behemoth Bash that, on the lift, there was literally an inch of space between the upstop wheels and the rails.

Behemoth Bash: Photo TR
dandaman replied to PCW_Nut's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I probably should have changed the name of mine more drastically, instead of from "Behemoth Bash: Photo TR" to "Photo TR: Behemoth Bash!" Oh, and by the way, Matt Damon is exactly what I wrote on my trivia sheet! Right alongside the three name-changed coasters, "Laser", "Snake" and "Horse on Fire"... -
Thanks again for all the great times, everyone. (And those who've posted so far and had to trudge through a lot of pixels to get their posts up!) I remember Robb throwing around a few trip ideas for a future... getting into a full West Coast trip in a couple of years would edge just beyond bacon-wrapped anything in terms of awesomeness!

Riding with Elissa and (I think Dave?) just before morning ERT ended, I can, in fact, recall a few choice words as a result of riding Time Warp... Dan "This lift is the best part of the ride..." Smith -

I thank you so much (and I too wish I had hung out with you more!) but... pssst... my update's over here. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=45425 Dan "Also discovered that your real name is Matt Damon " Smith EDIT: ^I personally found the back to be more thrilling simply because of the whole "pulling over the drops" thing. I didn't dare a front-seat ride for night ERT; I was too full on cajun fries to have some bugs as a palate-cleanser. -
Now Ryan has to ante up and pound a different giant stuffed toy!
