Ask Michael Bay, and he might ask you for a good script involving it. Looks like a great off-season day!

We had a similar one for Grade 11, though I could never figure it out... No logo on the front of the train, either. Kinda looks like a snake (Viper?) or at least it has scales.

Theme Park Review's 2008 Asia Tour!

I actually remember that from a caption contest on Cracked... http://www.cracked.com/craptions/archive/february-2008/777 It's these awesomely messed-up downtown parks that make me want to visit Japan the most. That and everything else awesomely messed-up. -

It's like the coaster version of "Wizard of Oz"... Dan "Fuji-Q ops: if they only had a brain" Smith -
Now that's a freakin' awesome metaphor. The whole wave thing could explain the time-travel bit to almost anyone! Going back in time all the way to the Black Rock running aground would be really interesting... I kept wondering this whole episode if the Losties wouldn't come across young Ben stumbling through the jungle.

Needs more flux. Daniel Faraday... the wacky time-travel physicist... he's fast becoming my favourite character. P.S. I only caught one reference immediately last night... there was a clock on the wall, maybe in a scene with Kate, that read 9:22; the plane crashed on September 22 (9/22).

Could that turntable possibly be from the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad? I seem to remember there being a segment involving that in an "America By Rail" video from over a decade ago... EDIT: Googling "Frostburg turntable" finds a lot of WMSRR engines, so I'm gonna go ahead and say "yes".

Zemeckis/Gale would be awesome, but I'd freak out if mine were signed by Lloyd/Silvestri... -

I never understood why the Cubs apparently beat Miami around 5:00 in the afternoon... who's scheduling these 2:00 games in 2015? -

Agreed. So very, very agreed. I'd so go back to 1983 and visit Horizons... hell, since the DMC-12 was built in 1981, I could just pass it off as a portable movie promotion! Dan "Or I could use the time-travelling fridge from the first draft of BTTF... maybe Indy's nuked one" Smith -

It's just depressing that a park can actually look kinda decent, but its operations totally blow once you're there in person. Q: What happens when you cross Eejanaika with Splash Bandit? A: Absolutely nothing. -

There should be some sorta chat transcript for those types of calls... Robb at 5 a.m. PST: Hello? Caller at 8 a.m. EST: Yeah, what time are you guys open? Robb: Future World opens at 9, World Showcase at 11. Caller: What? Isn't this Cedar Point? Robb: No, and it's not Epcot, either. Have a magical day. *click* ---------- Caller: Yeah, I'd like to speak to a manager. Robb: Please hold. *15 minutes pass* Robb (different voice): Hello, you asked for a janitor? Aah, so many possibilities... anyway, the whole thing just sounds like a cross between an Oscar speech and a reverse "Leave Britney Al-ooooone!", though I'd never thought about parks having to deal directly with poorly-maintained unofficial sites. I'm just curious because if they were apparently poorly-maintained, how had it become the #1 unofficial BPB site (for Google hits, anyway)? Dan "Better yet, just pretend you own some park then yell 'BUFFEEEEEEEET' about 20 seconds in" Smith

There's always been at least four or five of those Mold-A-Rama machines at Henry Ford Museum / Greenfield Village near Detroit... I still probably have five wax Mickey Mouses (Mice?) and at least ten steam trains lying around somewhere. ...And since the place is only open during the warmer months, I totally just had a summer flashback. *checks calendar... says "January"* ...Dammit!

If I'm late, I might as well do it fashionably. Happy birthday, sir.
