  1. ^Is it wrong I immediately thought of "Whalers on the Moon" when I read that? Dan "I died doin' what I loved!" Smith
  2. Happy 25th Birthday, Horizons!
  3. ^Virtual golf putting doesn't like me. I can put the same effort into a putt that "goes" half a foot as one that shoots 30 feet above the pin... Dan "Best score for 18 is 91" Smith
  4. I'm going virtual golfing for my uncle's bachelor party on Saturday! (It's a lot more realistic then it might let on. The ball even sinks in a little when you place it on the fine-haired "sand trap" square in front of the screen!)
  5. This is why one should never let Don King suggest hairstyles.
  6. LOL! Let's transition directly from baby pigs to their many everyday uses upon their death! Dan "Absolute win" Smith
  7. To hell with the moon, what about rides on Mars? Or Omicron Persei 8?
  8. ^ i.e. Nothing fan fiction hasn't covered yet.
  9. Eh, closet Close Encounters fan. This would make more sense if it were coming to Canada on October 14... that's our general Election Day! "Four more quiznarks! Four more quiznarks!"
  10. Movie, not so much for me... Jerry Goldsmith score, most definitely. My sister was Captain of her Relay for Life down in Eckerd College in either March or April. She had a total blast and was the only one that stayed up for the entire duration! Oh, and they also had a drag contest too. What is it about these events that brings out the flamboyance in people?
  11. Awesome! My friend had a German Shepherd until last year. From what I've experienced based on her, they're really friendly and not above an exhausting game of catch. (Up until her, I thought the dog was supposed to be tired before the owner. ) // Not ashamed to say "Awwwwwww!" over a dog, especially Lucy
  12. Farrokh Bulsara all the way.
  13. Not to mention Wes' are detachable and can be thrown at someone's head in self-defense if they try to grope you. Sorry, Natalie, tough call.
  14. I've been playing John Williams' "Close Encounters" medley every time I open this thread. Are there any known mesas in Alabama? Dan "I, for one, welcome our new Southern overlords..." Smith
  15. Are you a scriptwriter for Pirates 4, by any chance?
  16. If we had ACErs on the ballot, they'd eat all the mayo and Tyler would practically be granted invincibility.
  17. Screw the analysts, this fully explains McCain's VP pick.
  18. ^^Because it's just laughable that they can constantly think this publicity is good for them and their cause. If you want good publicity, you'd better have some good rationality. If not, it's there and open for ridicule. Even if it did catch my attention, is there really a possible way to follow up with, "As long as you're here, here's a cause well-thought out and... uh... give us a minute..." Dan "I'm only tired of the people who take PETA anything more than 'lightly' " Smith EDIT: What Scaparri said. Me posting this isn't helping their publicity if it's all based around ridicule.
  19. ^Terrance's D-cup comment FTW.
  20. ^If you're referring to "moose", I'm the one that posted it. Anyway, I do feel bad for the other animal rights groups actually doing some good... but until PETA disbands, their public stunts/statements will be the standard by which all others are (unfortunately) compared. Though PETA's publicity is decidedly less violent than the Earth or Animal Liberation Fronts... Dan "I may be sick of PETA, but not animal rights activists" Smith
  21. ^Oh, I know, but this one struck me as particularly hilarious. // Still waiting for a "Bacteria Are People Too!" campaign to arise
  22. ^^Was Phaethon the almost-direct Raptor clone, or was that Orochi?
  23. 56. Build mountain of mashed potatoes in living room. (Hey, it's pretty much the only one you didn't nail.)
  24. There's just such a horrible connotation when you consider it a "coat-hanger" coaster... ...Uh, look! Fireworks!
