  1. ^ That's the first time I've seen something at SFDK placed below Kong. I though I heard their Boomerang was one of the best
  2. Well, I didn't get on any coasters on closing day so it looks like Whizzer *Might* have been my last one for 2016. Great ride to end the season!
  3. So far, the only major park I have been to is Six Flags Great America I'll do my top 5 5. Six Flags Over Georgia - Looks like one of the nicest Six Flags parks and doesn't look like it has any bad coasters with Ninja revamped 4. Carowinds - Before you ask, no, I am not one of the people who are basing this entirely off of Fury 325 (Though it does look like a great coaster!). It looks like the nicest Cedar Fair Park and has a pretty damn good line-up 3. Six Flags St. Louis - 2nd closest Six Flags park to me and I almost visited in 2016 2. California's Great America - My home park is the other Great America, so this one's a dead-giveaway. 1. Six Flags America - I've probably stated why about a hundred times in other threads. (Apocalypse) I have a very different taste in amusement parks I guess
  4. 1. Early August is a terrible time to visit the park. Read to Suckceed crowds will cause the parking lot to become 95% full and all coasters will have at very least an hour wait. 2. You lucky bastard xD
  5. Had something to do with a storm I believe I heard from a ride-op back in 2013 that Raging Bull can't run in rainy weather because it has 3 trains
  6. I'm a bit baffled by your placement of Goliath, otherwise I mostly agree The first time I hit the brake run (Day after it opened) I immediately declared it my favorite coaster (Taken from Raging Bull), but my opinion has evolved over time. It's too short, and you're glued to your seat the entire time except for the drop and only if you're sitting in the back
  7. Six Flags Great America 1 - Raging Bull 2 - Viper 3 - Goliath 4 - X-Flight 5 - Batman: The Ride 6 - Superman: Ultimate Flight 7 - American Eagle Blue 8 - American Eagle Red 9 - Vertical Velocity 10 - Whizzer 11 - The Dark Knight 12 - Little Dipper 13 - Spacely's Sprocket Rockets 14 - Demon Joker will probably be near the 7-9 spot
  8. As expected, today was very crowded (Took 50 minutes for food at JB's, parking lot was past Superman 60, etc.). Not the greatest of days (I only rode Chubasco and River Rocker XD), but it was still pretty neat getting to visit the park one last time. Also, candy was 50% off! F*ck yes
  9. I actually do wish Six Flags owned MiA, that way I'd have 2 parks within a relatively close distance that I can get into for free
  10. Then said coaster would receive better ratings/attention What if Six Flags bought Cedar Point?
  11. Sucks. (Though I wasn't expecting a Halloween repeat) Hopefully tomorrow there will be slightly less of a crowd being a Sunday
  12. This thread is slowing morphing into the official means of transportation thread
  13. Sorry, I haven't had to do anything in-park with my membership since 2014 so I don't remember much haha All I know is, it's much easier to have a membership, as you only have to go through all the processing crap once (I got mine in 2013, had something checked out in 2014 for some reason)
  14. Why didn't you just come on Halloween, Goliath and everything else had no line (nobody in the SRL, I walked up and got 2nd to last row immediately)
  15. We always clip our sports bottles onto a backpack and have never had a problem. If I'm riding alone, I leave them with a non-rider I once called out two teenage girls for cutting me and my family in line for American Eagle and they stole our sports bottle
  16. Whoops Since CP is on the off season, does this mean we will not see the "Go Cubs Go" video until next year, or will it just be maintenance employees and such?
  17. SFGAm should force CP to rename Mean Streak "Leak Streak" and theme it to Hillary Clinton
  18. Cedar Point lost the bet! Go Cubs!!!
  19. CUBS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. 4. Swan Boats - Lincoln Park Zoo I always enjoyed the scenic views from these, it's a shame they were removed 3. Orbit - Six Flags Great America One of my favorite flat rides and it closed without any notice (And on Read to Suckceed ). I haven't ridden it in atleast a year, possibly 2 or 3 2. Great America Raceway - Six Flags Great America This was my favorite flat at the park, and I don't recall there being a removal notice either. 1. Iron Wolf - Six Flags Great America Even though I was exactly 54 inches and qualified to ride, I was still a bit scared of going up-side down on a roller coaster in 2011 so I didn't ride it, though I came very close. It seemed to be the least intimidating thrill coaster (At the time I had only ridden Spacely's Sprocket Rockets, Whizzer, Little Dipper, and The Dark Knight. MAYBE Viper and Ragin' Cajun). I thought it looked less scary then American Eagle because it was shorter and less scary then Demon because it had less inversions so I wanted to ride it but nobody else in my group did, so I skipped it and decided I'd ride it first thing in 2012...... .........
  21. Whizzer @ SFGAm last night in the rain. 2 train wait for the front row!
  22. Jester's Wild Ride is completely gone Picture credit goes to Guy_With_A_Stick (user on a SFGAm forum)
