i just assume they expect you to be professional and obey their wishes. i asked about my ipad and other stuff. ipad is okay, i just assumed my phone was okay, but will probably just sit in a bag i'm bringing with clothes, ipad and probably some pants or the legs to my convertible shorts. wed will probably be cold once the sun goes down. i asked about food, and she said that food will be available for dinner with snacks during the day along with soda and water.

obviously i can't say for sure, but i'm hoping for it to be pretty slow. summer hasn't started, it's a thursday, and not everyone is a gold pass holder. i'm not sure i can or cannot compare the sunday after the official day colossus closed, but that was for all pass holders all day on a summer sunday and it was pretty dead all day. a train or two wait. i also hope that because not everyone is getting the email letting them know that the 21st and 22nd are even a possibility, that, there won't be some going that might have had they of known. i know i'm going thursday even if i have to go alone.

it's only a single train station, no unload platform. the lifts are definitely variable speed. you can see that in one of the test videos when both trains going up the lift. if they can't get trains out fast enough, it will probably be because of a few reasons. slow employees, slow guests, and lack of employees (1 per side). i guess that's all kind of obvious though. lol but i will blame a lot of it on lazy, dumb park guests at magic mountain.

this...email link is another one i received that says if you buy your season pass now, that you'll be included in the preview. might be worth a shot investigating into it more. maybe you'll be able to go to the preview, i dunno. it doesn't say just gold, or anything else, so maybe. anyway, what do the different passes look like now? i thought they all looked the same. mine, which is a membership, just has a barcode and that's basically it.

Its dont think its that he doesnt want to use the term at all, cause this ride has a high five and he still refers to that element by that name, it would be confusing to call both of these a high five, so it makes sense to come up with a new name for it. sorry, i didn't mean to confuse what i said with the top gun. but in the interview i watched alan basically said the name high five didn't make sense, and that he never wanted to use it, that six flags wanted to. so to him, there is no high five in the design. i think his idea of a high five would be if they trains met traveling at each other, and i agree with him. i bet one day we will see that, that would be cool.

I believe the reason it's called a "top gun stall" is because of the way the two trains interact. It mimics a scene out of "Top Gun" where two planes fly upside down and right side up. That is exactly why it's called that, it's named after the movie sign. I'm pretty sure Six Flags didn't come up with it, I heard Alan Schilke talking about it back when the ride was being talked about at IAAPA. Alan is probably the one that named it that, he is the designer of the ride after all. I love using my jets to do top gun stalls to unsuspecting pilots in Grand Theft Auto V lobbies...just like in the movie they dont know what to do and it freaks them out, I get a kick out of it. alan did say he did not want to use "high five" and that six flags wanted to use that name. he said he didn't like the name cause it didn't make sense to be going the same way and "high five" someone.

Did you get this from the email? The only thing I got was the following week's ERTs.... are you a gold pass holder? actually, i now have the membership, which has all the gold stuff. so hopefully it's the same. but to answer your question, yes, it came in the email this morning for pass holders. i guess they send out different emails to gold and non gold.

Mark me impressed! I don't think, even in some of my greatest years of roller coaster riding, that I could handle 12 consecutive rides on Batman. To me it is one of the jerkyer, more intense rides in the park (Not to mention one of the best inverted B&M's ever). I mean, SURE, I could do it if I had to, but I can't even imagine what I'd feel like after! Now the original Colossus consecutive ride contest, I feel like that would be no problem, and will always regret not giving that a shot. when superman was new, or the year it was supposed to open, sfmm had passholder preview days. i went on one of the mornings and rode once then headed down the hill. they had a few rides open for us before the park opened. i just remember riding 50 times in 2 hours? is that possible? maybe it was 3. never got off once, but only to change seats. also, does anyone know what options for park photos there are this year? the past couple i've gotten the passholder USB thing, which let you buy any photo for a dollar. i'm guessing they killed that and only offer the email thing for whatever price which allows for $2 photos. is this true? thanks.
