Once you arrive at the park, have your friend head around to the back of the park. He'll need to go into Gotham City Area via the "Bring a Friend Free Tunnel." To get get into the tunnel you'll have to locate the sewer gate on the outside of the fence behind Batman. Once inside, they will follow the path into the tunnel. Ask the attendant at the end to draw the Bat Symbol on their forehead. Once they have the appropriate symbol drawn on their forehead with a sharpie, head back out of the tunnel, through the sewer, and back out. At that point, head towards the front of the park, through the crowds of people, because it will be crowded, and up to a ticket window. Show them your season pass and they will give you a ticket to scan at the same kiosk you scan you season pass at. Hope this helps. i know about all the Batman stuff, but i thought you just go to the gate and the attendant just asks, are you bringing anyone in with you? and that was it? that's all i've ever had to do.

The park still purchased three trains even with the removal of the mid-course. This way there are always two trains available while one is still in rehab, just like before with the PTC trains. I believe the first two trains were shipped out and I'm not sure if they have received the third train yet but they definitely ordered three. I feel like the park could have pulled off three train operation if they really tried. Europa Park does it on Wodan and that thing has a way shorter cycle time. Would have been cool to see in my opinion, especially with the crowds the ride seems to draw. the end brake run before the station puzzles me. stop, go, stop, go. it takes a long time to get into the station.

What Ride Have You Ridden the Most?

i'm going to guess that it would be Viper or Batman at SFMM. i used to marathon both. -

I really could see this being a good fit at Silver Dollar City. I can only imagine how amazing of theming the park could do with, and on it!! #WeCanOnlyHope i saw that intamin has a zac spin 2. seemingly fixing what alan said was wrong with where it rotates. looks like a free spin now. -

doesn't look like there's much there. like one little hump? that's all it looked like from where the ledgers were placed before the track. but me too, i could care less what happens before the lift. i care more post lift. -

oh, you're the food guy. -
i'd get a room near magic mountain if that's where you'll be for two days. i live 3 miles north of knott's, so, that's my drive to get to magic mountain when i go. it always sucks at some point. and i'm never going during morning traffic. 11-1pm is normally when i'm driving up there. weekends can often be worse for traffic because a lot of the people on the freeway are not used to being on it during the week. it's doable from orange county, but yeah, you will have to give yourself extra time for travel.

if you can't get the free parking without the pass first, you can always park in the marketplace parking for 2 hours free, then move your car after you get your pass processed. if you're planning to get the pass now and process on a weekday, they'll probably be waiting for you to walk it. lol no fingerprint scan, just a picture. which, i actually took with my webcam when i renewed this year. at least i think i did, or was that six flags? portillo's after is always a good choice. did that a couple days ago myself.

Superman is also a decade older than KK, so.... You have to ride it in the frame of mind for how it was built. At the time, it was mind blowing, and I still really enjoy it. I think the switch to backwards makes the height so much more impressive. i honestly only thought it was decent after the change. it was never mind blowing to me. especially after the half asses pass holder preview. i do enjoy superman, but the comparison was asked about CP. i agree with superbatboy.

between CP and SFMM? for me it's easily CP. the only ride i really, really like at SFMM is Twisted Colossus. X2 you definitely have to do at least once. you'll either love it, or hate it. Tatsu is also great and a must do. The only ride i'd be bummed about in a major way if they took out would be TC.

Exactly, if Knott's gets a big new coaster, it needs to be something high capacity like a B&M hyper. The park already has too many low capacity coasters (Monte, Pony, Sierra, Xcelerator, Boomerang, etc). I will agree that Jaguar is a very lackluster coaster but it's still pretty popular among families. I just wish it had a 42" height requirement instead of being 48", that never made any sense to me at all. At the very least, they should make it 42" with an adult like they did for Sierra Sidewinder. it used to be i believe 42". i know there was a time when my nephew could ride it, then boom, he couldn't.

ibox is some massive stuff. just the boxed top end of topper is pretty massive alone. -
" Knottās Berry Farm told us that they had construction planned inside the park that would prevent the event from traveling through the property." hmm, wonder what's going to be in the pathway that a 5k/10k couldn't run through? or, maybe they're just going to repave some parts. this race has been going on for a number of years. could be something, could be nothing.

[POLL] RMC Mean Streak 2017 or 2018?
coasterlvr replied to LeoBruz199's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
having watched most all the RMC's go up, i have no doubt it can be ready by opening 2017. Colossus was also pretty trashed if you ask me. Mean Streak last I saw looked to be in great shape. no surprise there. so, i think it could be smooth sailing for the conversion. does seem odd for marketing, etc. i also feel it seems awfully early to start if it's for 2018. whenever it opens, i'm just ecstatic that it's actually happening.
