  1. Well, I'm trying to get to la ronde very soon, and will make sure to go to La Rinde, and if I get there, I will make sure to post a TR plus reviews of motive rides. As for Wonderland, tell your parents we've got the *ONLY B&M GIGA IN THE WORLD!* L306 Canada's I305 if u wanna talk some more, just PM me.
  2. 7/10... A little easier to understand this time! ... Make it a brighter colour and I'll rate it higher again
  3. B&M invert that took mind eraser's place, making all the enthusiasts in the area very happy... However, a year or two later, the ride gods decided to swap Canada's Wonderlands Flight Deck (SLC) with theinvert, causing Canadato have TWO spectacular inverts by B&M (there is also one at La Ronde), & Darien lake to have zero .. BUT....
  4. ^ Hey, one other enthusiast is GREAT! . Most of us aren't rven lucky enough to have anybody to talk to in school about rides, at least to my knowledge. Like I asked TyRush before, has anybody been, or is anyone planning to, come to Canada to ride anything?
  5. Drachon Fire from BGW.. Coaster enthusiasts from around the world came to see the classic ride reborn, but then...
  6. ^That actually wasn't an S&S tower.. It was a Zamperla Z force I believe. But ya, if you wanna talk more, feel free to PM me.
  7. 10/10... Glad to see you're supporting coasting for kids... And thanks for using my home park's (Canada's Wonderland) slogan "Ride On" PM me if you wanna talk some more
  8. 6/10.... Cool, but not too big and bold, and kinda hard to understand
  9. Ya, that's just awesome living so close to a park man... The closest I can get to is when the carnival sets up behind my house (fairgrounds are like 5 mins away). When the carnival's in town, I'll ride the zipper every day, and usually get the perks mentioned in my previous post. As for Hershey having room to expand, that's something all the big parks here in Canada don't have... Kinda ironic considering that we've got so much open space in this country lol hahaha... Butbya, either the parks are on islands, indoors, or surrounded by buildings in the city (at least our big parks have those problems). Oh, and as for i305, it is my username, but sadly I haven't been able to ride it... I REALLY want to though, and judging by how awesome the Intamin free fall tower we have in Canada is (best Intamin we've got lol). I can only imagine what the good intamin coasters like I305 and sky rush hav in store. I have, however, rode L306 (Levuathan), and can say that was great. You been up to Canada to ride anything?
  10. ^Thts awesome that you can just go to avpark like that man... I envy you... Up here in Canada there aren't as many enthusiasts either. & @TyRush, I'm 16yself, & would love to visit HP, as many of the rides there look m, as Alvey would say, "Kick@$$"... Also due to the fact that up here in Canada we mostly have B&M coasters (best intamin coaster would have to be an old Relocated standup in Montreal lol), and HP would be a great place to try out some nice Intamins. PS: I'm terribly sorry for spamming the thread a few posts back... My computer is currently glitching out, and I can't seem to delete them... Mayvmb the mods could help?
  11. Same story man.. Have officially considered myself an enthusiast since grade 3. I even did the same as you, where I wrote all my business assignments related to rides/ the amusement industry... Mostly to b&m and Intamin. However, in recent years, I've seemed to tamer enthusiast spirit, like you to protect my social life. In fact, most of my friends don't even know I'm an enthusiast, unless we go to a park or fair, where it comes out (closest park is at least a few hours await, so it rarely happens$). When friends do find out, it's usually positive, and often we get perks because of it, such as free rides or the ops running a ride really intense (above 2 usually happen at the local fair, where the ops respect me for being an enthusiast .. Shout out to World's Finest Shows!.. Best show in Ontario & best ops in the biz!) Actually, speaking of being socially out as, as I've mentioned above, I've wondered just how many of us on here have Aspergers, or some similar condition... It wouldn't surprise me, and with a lot of people I know being diagnosed as teens (and as this thread shows, having many teens on this board), I wouldn't be surprised. (No offense to anyone regarding my last comment... Just sayin)
  12. Inlet Goliath (La Ronde) or Behemoth (Canada's Wonderland)?
  13. Well, if you check out the IAAPA coverage that was posted last year, S&S was showing a concept for a ride similar to what you're explaining.
  14. Some more I thought of are chance zippers )when you dive over the top and are pinned against the door, and you can hear the door creak)", as well as the Chance Pharoh's Fury rides when you sit in the back row (the ejector airtime is crazy, and to add to the insanity, the bar is a good few inches off your legs) As for rides that are so scary I will not ride it, is skycoasters... However, I personally dont count them as "rides" so I can p***y out of riding them lol. Another thing I found strange was that any kind of invert used to look really menacing to me when I was very young.. Probably because at local parks the largest most intense ride at the time was inverts (sLC, B&M, whatever it was depending on the park)
  15. For me it has to be Intamin free fall towers, or any large drop ride that slowly lifts you to the top.. They are the only ride I e been on that still scares me, but not enough to keep me off of them!
  16. Always found that most flats make cool noises, mainly Zippers and Enterprises. As for coasters, it has to be Vampire at SFLR (Six Flags La Ronde)... I can clearly remember taking the park's mineral past the ride as a little kid, and having to cover my ears due to the deafening B&M roar. Whenever I've gone since (Although I haven't gone since I was in like grade 4, and unfortunately too short to ride), the first ride I usually listen for is the Vampire... So pumped to actually ride it in a few weeks after years of watching!
  17. I've noticed that many people here are saying that many of the newer B&Ms are less forceful/Intense. Does anybody know why?
  18. What I was trying to get at was, how forceful was the airtime on TOT compaired to Intamin or S&S?
  19. Well, hopefully rides like this, S:UF and Kennywood's Skyrocket are just the tip of the iceberg for Premier... These guys really seem to be stepping up their game... Hopefully their next big coasters will feature less trims on big drops though lol (all the above coasters mentioned have trims that look like they really kill the ride)
  20. It'd have to be Ednor at SFLR (Six Flags La Ronde) for me. Building the thing may have been cheap, & not really a waste of money, but it certianly a waste of space, & with a park on an island, like La Ronde, space is key... IMO it doesn't make sense to build a coaster like an SLCS when they already have a B&M invert that is the same height and speed, has the same amount of inversions, and is an overall better ride (at least from what I've been told.. I will find out in a few weeks ). If SF/La Ronde wanted to build a cheap coaster, at least build one that the park DOESN'T already have... and if they do, build a BETTER one NOT a worse one.
  21. I'm going to a park in a few weeks... Can't wait to show all the GP comments lol
  22. How was Goliath at La ronde compaired to Behemoth?... I've been on Behemoth, and am going to La Ronde in like a week.
  23. Well, that's awesome to hear, as one of the parks I'm going to has an older invert(BTR clone)
