Does anyone know how much mauner schoene sky loop coasters are and if the still make them. I think one of those or a Vekoma stingray coaster would be perfect for the park.

^ Im pretty sure that Ed said the coaster would be new. I really don't know what to expect. Where do you think time machine would be in the park if kk did get it?

I understand what people are saying about atlanta being able to support two waterparks. But, can someone please explain how thin would benefit SIX FLAGS. I know if It was a hot summer day and I was at six flags over georgia I would say, "going to white water tomorrow sounds refreshing", but if there is a free waterpark at the park I would have no need to go. This is the main thing I don't understand. Im not meaning to be that one annoying person on the thread, im just asking a question. And also, why would you go to white water when you can go to six flags over georgia and ride rollercoasters and enjoy a small waterpark?

Also, Jim Reid Anderson said one new attraction for each park every year. I feel like if white water were to stay, then it would have recieved an addition of more significance than just some stages for shows.

I think six flags will close white water. It just doesn't make sense to have two waterparks that close to each other. Also is there any word about wheather or not this new waterpark will be included with park admission?

Also, how did Cedar Fair get the soak city parks. Were they acquired with Knotts Berry Farm, or each separately bought etc...

Remember the entrance work photo I posted a few pages back, well it looks like it is almost done. The photo came from Kentucky Kingdom's facebook. I found this to be hilarious. Unlike Six Flags which would be sponsored by skittles, this is just the bank of kentucky.

What is 6D taste? Also, it would probably be pretty easy to convert the theater to 3D if the park wanted too. It would probably just require a new projector and glasses, but i'm not sure.

I noticed that the website is exactly the same minus all the cedar fair references. Does anyone know if Cedar Fair is still doing the daily operations for soak city throughout the end of the season, or if CNL is already operating it. It seems like it would have made more sense to wait to sell it in the off season.

Thats funny, when I was younger I don't remember t2 being rough at all. Now when I went on another slc, it felt very rough. I think it has something to do with body weight. The more you weigh the more it jostles you around. Correct me if im wrong. Also, looking at the rides and attractions page and trip reports, lots of people seem to overlook that this park has a (3d) ? motion simulator. Those are always fun.

^It depends on who you are. If you are a major coaster enthusiast and all you look for in a park is lots of coasters, then going the first year might not be the best idea. I always liked the park because it was never crowded and i could do everything in a few hours. I'm sure that will change though when the park reopens.

I wonder if the multi slide tower complex will be a drop box or not. That I would love to see because I don't believe any of their competitors have a drop box slide. Im not sure though.

^ I think Kings Island should re theme all of action zone to a spooky theme. There could be the bat, banshee, derilium could be renamed to spider, etc. That could easliy turn IMO one of the worst themed sections of Kings Island to a very good one.

I am going to Great Adventure tomorow and want to do as much as possible. Do you reccoment I do Safari Off Road Adventure before or after Kingda Ka and El Toro right when the park opens?

About the three trains, if there was room on the break run, why not just have a separate load and unload area for the coaster? That would increase capacity and you wouldn't have to sit on the break run and wait to unload. The only reason I could think for not doing this is it would require maybe one extra person to staff.

Ironically the barbed wire is only there to make the park more safe.

Maroon.. it's just a color Vampire (the park's Vekoma Boomerang from China*) was that color. It seemed when the park was new, every other thing there was maroon. The train on Thunder Run was maroon, too. *There was a plaque in front of Vampire describing how people were afraid of the ride in China, so Kentucky Kingdom purchased it. ^ I did not see that color, but time will tell. When Six Flags moved the vampire, did they fix it? If they didn't how did they think just moving it would fix it? Because I heard that it got stuck pretty frequently.

last two pictures That almost looks like new wood on swamp water Jack's, but it is hard to tell. Kentucky Kingdom is very patriotic even when it is not open. There are six American flags. I wonder why that is?

I am not sure what color you are talking about because I wasn't alive in the early 90's.

I am back. Sorry about the quality as I took the pictures through a car window. This sign is going to have to come down soon. They are re-doing the exterior of some of the entrance buildings. I couldn't quite snap the picture fast enough, so I don't blame you if you don't believe me. This truck said rocky mountain coasters on the side.
