  1. I'm a ride op at...get ready for it...Little Amerricka! This is my first summer and it's been pretty fun but not incredibly exciting as the park isn't very large. I've been trained on the majority of the rides and have enjoyed learning "from the bottom up".
  2. It's not the biggest or fastest, but the theming and detail really make me want to ride that! Thanks.
  3. Superman almost always has the longest line in the park. I can understand waiting 90 min since you had never been on it before, but I wouldn't wait more than 30 min anymore for it. Nice report!
  4. I couldn't agree more, especially if you're in the back row you get a great pull down the first drop
  5. We were at the park yesterday (Monday) from 4-10, and had a great time. It ended up being a pretty well-rounded trip and was definitely worth it. Here are some pictures.... Why not use an old queue as an ad for fright fest? Formerly the Ragin Cajun station. Goliath looking good as always. Station walk up in the middle of the day? Thank you single rider line! It ended up being a 15 minute wait vs the 75 minute wait in the normal line. For you lift hill enthusiasts. Got two rides on this, and it was running pretty good as always. I love the pacing after this ride, it's one thing after another. Yes, it is short, but it packs quite a punch into that time. Pardon my thumb. Seeing this at Superman and Goliath practically made the trip to the park worth it. Hardly anyone uses them too, Superman became a walk-on all day in the single rider line. What??? While Red was doing double rides all day, Blue side has a parternship with the Blue Man Group. There are banners building up excitement along the whole queue with activities and trivia. Blue side was a 10 min wait, red looked longer though thanks to the double rides. It was only about 20 min for this too. It's very re-rideable and was doing double rides in the last hour. Southwest Territory. This makes the park look empiter than it was, but once it hit 7:30 or 8 people really started leaving and lines became reasonable. You can always count on Demon to have a walk-up. Always. Not the best picture, but this area really does add a lot to the park IMO. It almost gives me a Disneyland vibe with the train station and flag, etc. (Almost) The Peking Acrobats. We really enjoyed this show, if you're in the park I recommend seeing it. It's a good mix of danger, comedy, and entertainment, plus it's only 30 min. Pro tip: Right next to the Fresh Cafe (by Superman) there's this circular building. There are all kinds of tables and chairs set up in there to eat, plus the AC is really high, making it perfect for hot days. Hardly anybody knows about it, so it's a great place to reenergize in the quiet. Ended with a 35 minute wait for the front row on this beauty. It was by far our longest wait of the day, but so worth it. Can't get enough of American Eagle at night. That's all! I didn't have a lot to say, but it sounds like there are some more reports coming from others soon. I really did enjoy the 6 hours, it ended up being a great time with a good balance of coasters, flat rides, and a show.
  6. I'm so glad to see another Gravity Group coaster, this one looks great. As for the park, there's just something cool about building a park "from scratch" and watching it develop over the years. It doesn't look like they'll be slowing down either.
  7. https://www.mtolympuspark.com/park-tickets-10-wisconsin-dells?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=062215summerparktickets10 New deal for today only from the park, they must not be having the ticket sales that they desire. I'm willing to pay $10 to get in.
  8. I don't remember many of my firsts, but my first "real" coaster was Pepsi Ripsaw Coaster (now Orange Streak) at the Mall of America. I couldn't get enough of it.
  9. #140, Boomerang at Six Flags St. Louis.
  10. I was waiting for Shivering Timbers last year and it happened to be Friday the 13th, so the kids in front of me were thinking that it went faster because of Friday the 13th...
  11. Hopefully this isn't a repost, but Zippin Pippin at Bay Beach. The back provides a great kick and it's only $1 to ride! It's at a very small park and is highly underrated IMO.
  12. It is new to this version. It still creeps me out that this version is using the music from WDW's "Celebrate the Magic" show! As much as I like the song, I wish that they had used something original/different for it. Oh well
  13. I'm not sure whether or not I can see them getting one, but if they do then the old Ragin Cajun area would be perfect. Right now that area is basically unoccupied, but I don't know how much space JLBFM requires.
  14. There's just something funny about having the dramatic music in the background while flashing the words "Family Spin Coaster" one at a time
  15. Funny thing, I was actually just thinking about GCI this morning in class and I remembered how much I loved Prowler and Renegade a few years ago. I'm eager to see what happens in the future with them, I'm convinced that they're not done. RMC coasters are definitely the fad right now, so only time will tell what happens.
  16. I've always wondered the same too, but haven't been able to tell what ride it is. It does seem out of place though.
  17. This looks like a great addition to the park! I think what will make it stand out from other B&M Hypers is the twisty section after the MCBR. It looks like there will be cool moments for the viewers and riders there.
  18. Just in case you're not able to make it to Anaheim (like most of us) there are 6 webcams that Disney has up all day from all over the park. http://www.disneylandevent.com/24hrevent/
  19. Interesting, the reviews I've seen for World of Color-Celebrate were not bad but not the best either. I loved the original show, so I'm going to watch the new show today and see what I think of it!
  20. I really wish I could be on the West Coast right now, this only makes me more motivated to get back.
  21. I was able to watch the Paint the Night and Disneyland Forever first shows last night and all I can say is I wish I was there! Paint the Night looked to be a really high energy, modern show, and the projections during Disneyland Forever looked like they added a lot. Was anybody there who can give their thoughts?
  22. All of this just makes me want to get back to IOA so much more. I went in 2008 and loved it, but so much has changed now. I can't wait to see how this comes together.
  23. I'm really excited to see what they do. WDW has been so successful with their resorts and being a part of the entire vacation that it only makes sense for DLR to expand upon what they have now.
  24. Every time I look at that green double down I can't stop looking at it, it just looks so wrong yet so right.
