  1. No, I would say you probably went over the limit on this one. But how can a ship sail 150km without anyone noticing missing passengers?
  2. Will it be the nail in the coffin now? I wonder how Carnival will wiggle out of this one, if they can.
  3. It's kind of early to make comments like that, since they may have drowned.
  4. WCPO is reporting that passengers are missing after falling overboard off a Carnival ship. http://wcpo.m0bl.net/r/1i8ph4
  5. I think this is the final nail in the coffin for Carnival. Endless problems over the past few weeks have shown that the company isn't able to provide a efficient cheap cruise. This is likely to be a PR disaster as a revamped cruise ship left unfinished. Really?
  6. It must be intense at the bottom of the loop since wouldn't there be -Gs since the rider is facing towards the ground.
  7. Drove by the park today, and Windseeker was operating with guests.
  8. The point about the BM footers looks to be spot on. Why Banshee as a name?
  9. And they're getting a third coaster according to RCDB: http://rcdb.com/11481.htm
  10. which ride are you referring to about at Seaworld? I think it might be Kraken, since the line wraps around all the decorations.
  11. I'm going with KI's King Cobra, since the line wrapped around the ride, before making a direct path to the station.
  12. For Kings Island, one should go on a weekday. The order of attack should be in this order: 1. Firehawk - line is at best a crawl. 2. Flight of Fear - Same reasoning as Firehawk. 3. Backlot Stunt Coaster - Same reasoning yet again. 4. After this, you should do the other coasters in any order you choose.
  13. In regards to Flying Turns, at least there is a chassis on track! Hopefully it's done before Phunfest.
  14. I think it looks like it might be Accelerator or Blitz foundations. The holes look similar to the ones dug for Maverick in 2006.
  15. I'm most surprised with the fact that at the end they did not do a rendition of "Grim Grinning Ghosts". In PM at EuroDisney, they completely rewrote the song to make it fit the setting. However, the music really makes the attraction a true winner in my opinion.
  16. It's happening again: http://m.today.com/travel/power-failure-hits-carnival-ecstasy-cruise-ship-1B9518757. So, is it worth it for $38?
  17. I wouldn't, they've just had another accident as mentioned on the previous page. I was watching my local 9 news, and they say that the cruise is not worth the value.
  18. It seems Carnival is having no trouble destroying their reputation within the US: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mobileweb/2013/04/12/carnival-triumph-reimbursement-us-government_n_3073043.html?utm_hp_ref=business Also, its happened again: http://www.click2houston.com/news/Passengers-upset-after-cruise-ship-troubles/-/1735978/19741694/-/go4ku8z/-/index.html
  19. There have been a few times, I think the one at Cedar Point has gotten stuck a couple, needless to say I am not even taking the slightest chance of getting stuck on top when visiting this year. Do they know what the problem is and are having trouble fixing it, or are they still having trouble identifying the problem? No, the problems are different each time varying from structural complications to computer glitches.
  20. The report is actually pretty disgusting. Wondering how many will take the "Poop Cruise" $58 offer. By the way that term comes from WCPO in Cincinnati. They said its losing money for Carnival.
  21. I think it's safe to say Dorney Park *was* going to eventually get one, thanks to the redesigned area by Stinger, which includes a concrete circle that is the exact size of a Windseeker footprint, as well as space for a queue and an ops booth. I guess it depends on whether Cedar Fair decides the rides are worth enough after the trouble they've had to purchase any new ones. I also remember hearing rumblings about Valleyfair and Worlds of Fun each possibly getting their own Windseeker before the problems started arising. It's a shame, really. I enjoyed the CP ride, and when I was at KD on Sunday I did hear a lot of guests saying they wished it were open. Wouldn't it be more logical for CGA to get one?
