  1. Yes, I'd have to say that the game is good if you're not expecting a ton from it. It is certainly much better than the "other" theme park games on the App Store, but it had lots of bugs ( which are fairly common on release days).
  2. Not sure about everyone else, but airtime to me is the negative g-forces acting on your body, not literally coming out of your seat.
  3. Hmm... The only rides that I encountered as closed were Boss( too low temps in the morning), Boomerang, and Tidal Wave/Thunder River( seasonal attractions).
  4. Covered a room in sticky notes. I believe it took us around 6,000 of them to fill the walls!
  5. Even though it won't be that tall, the steepness of that drop will definitely create some thrills!
  6. Of the Darkness, City Museum, or the tradeshow?
  7. First rider comments on Banshee! @KingsIslandPR: "It's everything an inverted coaster should be, and more." Cedar Fair's C.O.O. Richard Zimmerman after a ride on Banshee.
  8. ^ Also, the magnetic brake fins are not centered, so it wouldn't be an easy conversion.
  9. ^ I've heard that the area is cleared, getting ready for the installation. Also, I've heard from multiple people that the final ride will look NOTHING like LaRonde's orange and blue generic theme, but rather have some actual themed elements that resemble buoys and nautical objects. Who knows, I guess we'll all see for sure when the park opens and actual constructions starts.
  10. It is chain wide. This is just one of the first parks to unveil them , as they open earlier than the rest .
  11. Months ago. When was the last time that you hit a curb in your car?
  12. Lots of toilets are completely broken and the Olympic village hotels do not have lobbies or anything!
  13. Total Darkness was pretty great if you got in on an extremely slow night. I went one night with 2 friends and they started experimenting with things like muting the soundtrack, going with a rope/ no rope at all, strobe lights on/off, and even alone or with a group. This made the experience different every time which was more thrilling than expecting just a dark room. I'll have to admit, going alone with the sound system off was really creepy!
  14. I like this idea. Would love to see an old time ice cream parlor but not sure what they can/will do based on existing relationships with ice cream vendors. SFSTL has an awesome Prairie Farms ice cream parlor. It is beautifully decorated and the ice cream is a decent price for the size of the fresh waffle cones . I'm not familiar with that. Where is it in the Park? Had I known I may have went there instead of Coldstone lol! In the front mall area. If you're walking in the gate, take an immediate left and it's right on the corner with a pink/cream colored facade. Much better product and price than cold stone!
  15. No? They're being completely removed and scrapped for Tsunami Soaker going in it's former place this season.
  16. Is that just for passes being processed this year? My family got their gold passes during Fright Fest and they had pictures on them.
  17. Animations
  18. 1. Cheetah Hunt 2. SheiKra 3. Boss
  19. Thanks! It took me a while to find it, but I finally figured it out.
  20. This might seem like a dumb question, but I can't seem to get the Vekoma Flying Dutchman coaster to lay down? It leaves the station in the elevated position and won't switch. How do you do this?
  21. Add 90 degree banking ( maybe even inversions) to Gerstlauer Spinners More padding to all Gerstlauer wood coaster trains Extend the drop on Sheikra Add a helix to TTD/Kingda Ka Remove awkward banking before the corkscrew on Arrows
  22. ^ The old Sound Stage No. 2? If so, it hasn't been used in years, except for the covered area near the entrance for karaoke and small events. This year it was renovated into Total Darkness for Fright Fest, which was a huge hit judging by the lengthy lines every night.
  23. In some cases this is extremely important to do. Many "parents" believe that tall shoes will help a child get to ride something, but the restraints are designed for attached limbs which meet the height restriction. They would come up to the entrance of the ride with 2-3" soles/heels! I couldn't count how many times I would have to enforce this in one week!
  24. Snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, skating, working, and studying is all I do in the winter.
