Oddly enough, I found that tight turn to be quite enjoyable! I found it gives Vortex some character that I hadn't experienced on a roller coaster of that size before. I think so too. That's what makes Vortex unique. Where else in the world can you experience something like that? -

The mega coaster started testing, I watched two videos of the first drop, let's just say it is way faster than the NL2 demonstration and be prepared for a sh*t ton of airtime! Unfortunately there's no way I can repost those videos. -

Here's my ranking: Superman Krypton Coaster: excellent, top 5 B&M Rougarou: close to Superman. Scream: nice but I hate the park. Hair Raiser: god awful, rough as hell and really boring after the airtime hill. -

I bet even other manufacturers are jealous of RMC getting such an incredible setting! -

Re: Intimidator 305: How can you say you know how the "GP" feels about the coaster? How can you know if the park is unhappy with their attendance boost? How do you know KD even paid for the ride modifications? For all you know, Intamin hadn't delivered a coaster with the agreed upon forces, and ultimately had to deal with fixing it on their dime. I wouldn't put words into the parks mouth like that. I think Cedar Fair's relationship with Intamin (or lack thereof) since i305 speaks for itself... They're not buying Intamin doesn't mean they are done with Intamin.

Totally random, I heard from Mack that Bluefire pulled NEGATIVE 2.3G's on Bluefire's spinning car when it is facing right at the heart line roll. Also, post #5,000!!! -

I don't really know about the old train on Titan but the new Sansei train works pretty good with the S&S seats. While you can still feel the roughness from the poorly shaped track, it is not unbearable or too painful. Now, what truly makes the ride stand out is the first track of the on-ride audios.

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

To be fair, for a ride with such heavy trains, B&M really can't make super innovative layouts for it. You need a MCBR to ensure the capacity, Kumba level of positive G and snappy transitions will destroy the wide trains and Cedar Point probably already designed the ride before they contacted B&M.
