  1. ^ Almost two weeks earlier And it's just the restraint bars, it's not vest restraint.
  2. Nice, it really is Mack's take on Infinity Coaster. Edit: ^ It was on Walibi's Snapchat as well so it's confirmed. I screenshotted it:
  3. So done with all the teasing! Here's the REAL train!
  4. Hey that location would be perfect for an 9000ft long 600ft tall 90mph triple launch Aquatrax/Poler Coaster hybrid with 15 inversions!
  5. If there's anything wrong with it, I'm sure Intamin would've noticed much sooner than us. They might be figuring out a solution as of now. The ride is still far from opening, they will probably finish the main tower first then fix the brake run. We'll see.
  6. It's definitely not ready yet, they haven't wrapped the sides of all the restraints with foam yet.
  7. This train looks really aggressive! I honestly can't think of a hyper coaster with better looking train. Hollywood Dream maybe?
  8. So according to a news source in China, HongKong Disneyland will make Hyperspace Mountain a permanent attraction after the transformation. They didn't say more about it but I think it would go well with Iron Man's opening.
  9. You know it's a ceime to make TDS TR during the off-season right?
  10. I don't think it really matters that much weather a ride use trailered trains or non-trailered train *ride experience wise*. But for trailered train, the stress on the linkage is huge compared to those on non-trailered trains. But trailered trains requires much less wheels and wheel assemblies so maintenance would likely to cost less. For example, a 6-car old style Premier train uses 144 wheels while a 6-car Intamin hyper coaster train only uses 84 wheels.
  11. This is an actual article! http://vitalvegas.com/11-vital-tips-sex-high-roller-ferris-wheel-las-vegas/
  12. Dragon Khan, iSpeed, Olympia Looping, Outlaw Run, Thriller, Fujiyama, New Texas Giant, Mega-Lite
  13. An update of the drop tower project, looks like the theming will be very nice. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  14. Superman Ultimate Flight clones, I mean the flyers.
  15. Didn't the structure itself have problem?
  16. B&M is starting to get interesting this year
  17. Nooo! They should be at Tokyo Disney Sea!!! Joking aside, yeah another Falcon's Fury would be great.
  18. What makes dive coasters different in this regard from every other ride that doesn't completely stop at the MCBR? Wow factor. Every single one of my GP friends says wow when they saw it holds you at the edge for a few seconds and drops you. Now after that, you get a second drop that is close to vertical. Pretty sure GP would love it.
  19. See the coaster is built on a downwards terrain? If they are building a brake run like TTD, the end of the brake run will be very close to the ground, the supports will have to handle a huge amount of stress from the deceleration of the train; Or the drop would more high-raise thus the already tight 270 degrees twist would be even tighter and the cost of the 3 spine track, extra support height and lateral supports will add quite a lot to the budget. Or maybe they need the space under the brake run because the park is very tiny in the first place. If they build it like Kingda Ka, maybe the park does not want to pay for an extra hill, or the space this coaster occupies is not long enough for the extra length of the pull up. Either way, this is probably the most cost-efficient design, it might look weird but whatever works!
  20. Eh, don't be so sure about that. At least in the Florida parks' case, a loud coaster might be scary to small children. I have to agree. While enthusiasts may love the raw of a classic B&M like Hulk was or Nemesis, I have seen first hand people look at a ride and say "yeah I will ride that". Then the train makes it way down the first drop, the roar begins and they start to question if they want to ride or don't ride at all. I guess some people like it (including me) and some don't. I'm near SFSTL and the roar from Batman gives it a Theme Park feel I feel like certain coaster can definitely benefit from being loud but most coasters would be better if they are quiet. Five machines and Gigas, or plus size loopers and inverts would more likely to be better with a roar. The roar will give people a sense of challenging and that tend to work better on huge coasters.
  21. As a huge fan of the Werner Stengel snaps, nooo! But for a coaster that runs 3 train at full capacity almost every day without scheduled downtime, eliminating snaps will definitely do great stuffs to the train and the track.
  22. Very good! Slightly cheaper than I thought but that seems very reasonable for what they offer. I checked out their website, they mentioned that the boats on Pirates of the Caribbean will spin, go sideways, go backwards and even "dive into the water". Sounds kind of like Omnimover similar to Little Merimaid to me. All the photos of Pooh they have on the website are from Tokyo Disneyland. Please let it be a trackless! Jet pack ride will tilt forward more and more as you go higher.
  23. It doesn't bother me, I just think it's funny that's all. I'm not pointing at you, sorry about that.
  24. Come on why does this bother everyone that much?
