Photo TR: Thorpe Park (14/05/14)

Now that I think about it, Angry Birds is everywhere I go. Clothes, shoes, games based on the original game, BOARD games based on the VIDEO game. It seems like a lot to me. Isn't there already a park with Angry Bird attractions? Somewhere in Sweden or Norway or somewhere? -

Had no idea Angry Birds was still so in demand. Why not a flappy bird land instead? Great TR, hope to get out there someday. -

Maybe they'll do a tie in with the new NOAH movie. Russell Crowe can open it up personally. -

I remember Holy Land during our second Florida Trip. It was 1/3 beautiful scenery, 1/3 Jesus, and 1/3 cardboard wax fake animal goofy. The whole time there I imagined certain attractions replaced with rides. Like if the Scriptorium was instead a River Boat with a big splash drop at the end. -

I love Chessington! It's on my bucket list of theme parks. Great TR, I wish there were more small but fun parks like that over here. -

Been to Dorney only twice in my life, but I have no idea how I missed this unique train! -

Wow, looks like they've got the space, the money, and a great plan already in the works. -
Best Six Flags Park

I've so far only been to three parks: Great Adventure, America, and Over Georgia. Great Adventure, NJ - 200?: Can't remember when exactly I went but it was before Kingda Ka and El Toro. I was still young but I remember it was a lot of fun, and this was the first time I went on a ride that had inversions (GASM). I'll say this was the best park even though I didn't get on that many rides, it was just a fun experience. America, MD - 2009: Okay, this park could've been a lot better. Some of it's reputation has to do with the location. It's like that cousin you never talk to, but they're always asking you to see them. We basically had a free day here from the discounts we got, and most folk were in the waterpark. Superman was the highlight of course, but even that was just a pretty good coaster. Some rides weren't even open that day for no real reason I could see. I did ride my first SLC clone, Superman, and flying coaster. Really wanted to ride that log flume. Oh, and on that cow rodeo ride the ride op had to clean this big girl threw up and almost hit us. The ride op had to clean it up, and on his last day too. Over Georgia, GA - 2011: Unfortunately, this was during spring break so I couldn't ride Goliath(3.5 hour line), S:UF(4 hour line), or much else. I feel like it was kind of a wasted experience, not to mention we had been close by for a wedding the summer before. It was a great park even with all the crowds but, really hope to get back here as well so I can basically have another chance. I did see two ladies fight in line though, so not a complete waste. Out of these three Great Adventure is the best. Parks I really want to visit: Great America, and Over Texas. -
I hate how a lot of companies think that everyone wants to integrate social media with everything they do. I know a few people who are like this, but clearly the core RCT fans don't share the same views. I always found the game more of a private experience, where I could pull myself away from the world and everyone else. Ready to put some money down for Theme Park Studio now.

Why do people like interactive dark rides?
soldier148 replied to Dr. M's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My first dark ride was DarKastle at BGW, only because I don't remember Buzz Lightyear at WDW. I have Spider-Man as one of my favorite rides of all time, so naturally I'd rather have a dark ride that I can sit back and enjoy the show as opposed to an interactive one where I'm shooting at stuff. I hope I don't sound lazy. -
The Official TPR Update Thread!

One day I'll get out there, even if I have to go by myself. Maybe they'll add a Tokyo DisneyAir park that floats in the sky -
RCT2 is one of my favorite games of all time. Definitely in the top 3. I started on RCT1, and eventually played RCT3 (when it worked) when Platinum came out. I still play 2 because it runs so smoothly after more than a decade, and is still so fun and creative. To see this abomination... just horrible. I can't believe they would run the name through the mud just for another stupid Facebook game. I guess this is where I part ways with RCT...

Given the on-going development costs I'm guessing the sooner you put your money down the faster it'll be! Or at least, the better it willbe when it is complete. Not saying they can't afford to finish the game, but a big part of releasing 'early access' must be to top-up development budget. Oh, well really money is kinda short right now but if it helps them move quicker I'll reconsider!

Wow things like this stick in my mind forever... Like missed opportunities. Not a lot but there are some that stand out more than any: SFOG: The lines were soooo long that day in 2010. So many school, band, and church groups. Even saw my cousin from NC with her marching band. Also saw a fight while in line for the Scorcher. Anyway I missed: Goliath, Superman, Ninja, and Cyclone... Was with younger family so wasted time and brain cells riding GASM. Rode my first Batman, Mindbender, and Scorcher. Overall not the best day, but not the worst. Cedar Point: Last year took a 24 hour school trip there from VA, but I regret it now. My first visit was in July 2007, so I was extremely excited. I got to ride my favorite coaster Maverick again, Corkscrew, and Blue Streak, but mainly took lots of pictures and video. Unfortunately I let myself go so I couldn't ride WT, or TTD for the first time, after waiting a combined 4 hours in line. Got on Raptor later that night before getting on the bus for the trip back to VA, as I wasn't interested in the Haunt attractions. I was really sad, but even more so embarrassed. Since then I've been working hard so that doesn't happen ever again.

My favorite all time: Indiana Jones trilogy (The first movies I remember growing up) The rest: Lord of the Rings/Harry Potter/Fast and Furious (If they're on TV I won't change the channel even if I'm not paying attention) Spider-Man (Favorite superhero) Bourne trilogy (The first one gives me such a nostalgic feel, it's amazing) First few SAW movies Toy Story

When I start getting a steady cash flow I'm definitely getting into the theater more. Girlfriend with me or not. I only actually saw one film out of all the Oscar nominees, but I wanted to see everything really.
