  1. If SFGAm gets a water coaster next year I don't see us getting one. But I doubt we'll get a steel coaster either. I'm guessing another flat ride addition of some sort.
  2. I'm just pumped that half of the train is going to go down that 90 degree drop BACKWARDS Looks like a great ride, just was expecting a more Helix-type ride. The $26 million price tag seems a bit steep but I assume a lot of that was for the ground clearing and ride station. There's also that launch building not featured in the animations. Can't wait to see what surprises will occur in there.
  3. If it rides as well as it looks, then it'll be the #1 coaster in the world. This thing looks f'in insane. Hopefully I'll be able to get to CoasterMania next year.
  4. I'm wondering if it's possible that the water coaster isn't coming until 2019? You would think that the land would've been surveyed last year, as the plans should be done by now, right? When we get a water coaster I hope it's more like Wildebeest than SFFT's version that looks devoid of any airtime.
  5. The image didn't load earlier. And no, I don't think so. The tweet is just saying to come out for the final rides of the summer.
  6. Really hope they spend the money to fix Highland Fling- not very excited about the possible replacement. I love the freedom of an Enterprise, and I don't really see how a Endeavor is marketable when it's replacing what is almost the same ride? I'm assuming if Fling goes this season that the park will just leave the lot empty for the year, as I'm sure next years new ride will go elsewhere.
  7. It's been a few years since I've been to the Dells. Still have fond memories of Mt. Olympus. Operations kinda sucked, but I loved Hades 360 and Cyclops. Does anyone know if Hellcat has been retracked recently? In 2014 it was literally the roughest ride I have ever been on.
  8. Guardians 2 was the most fun I've had at the cinema in a long time. It's nowhere near perfect or anything, but it's funny and colorful and has some amazing scenes. The whole thing is just amazing to look at as well. The plot is a bit strange but relatively easy to follow I had a smile on my face the majority of the time. I might go back and see it again because it looked amazing on the big screen.
  9. Based on the size of the station? We don't even know what type of coaster this is going to be, let alone the layout, theme, gimmicks, etc.
  10. I absolutely loved that production of The Sound of Music when it came through St. Louis last year, so hopefully you'll enjoy it as well! Does your line-up ever involve newer shows? Haven't most of those been on the road for a while?
  11. It's in between the back of Mooseburger and the train station
  12. Just got back from a trip to the park. Fright Fest is always my favorite part of the season. The crowds weren't too bad. Lines for rides were 20 min max, and we waited 15 min for chicken at Mooseburger. Scare zones were fun. Plenty of actors out tonight, all of which were very active and into their roles. The zombie area is weird though. Not sure why a guy in an athletic uniform with a little bit of makeup is supposed to be scary. Cannibals and clowns were great at chasing people around and one girl in my group was singled out by them multiple times. Quick question- what's up with the new clown location? Is there a reason they didn't return to the Batman location or their previous one near the soundstage? I like the feeling of it being tucked away, but almost all of the old theming elements seem to be gone. All that was set up were string lights and some sewer tunnels left over from Insanity Alley. I hope to go through the haunted houses next weekend.
  13. Labor Day weekend is a TERRIBLE weekend to visit SFSTL. It always has been, and it will continue to be for a long time. After summer break is over, the park loses a significant bunch of its employees (who go back to school), and many of the employees that remain just don't show up to work on Labor Day weekend. The park just isn't able to fully staff its restaurants with such a small amount of employees, even if they try and use all of their available workers. Don't bother writing an e-mail to the park, there's an even better way to help get the lines down on holiday weekends! 14. So this is our 2017 attraction... I mean, they're fun, but... credit: Screamscape
  15. Yeah...wtf? There's physical damage to one of the cars?
  16. If SFGAm is indeed getting a 4D Free Spin, I HIGHLY doubt we will receive one the same season. But Six Flags has done stranger things. I'd say at this point, it looks like the soonest we're getting a new coaster is 2018, whether it be a Free Spin (most likely) or a larger steel coaster (I doubt it). 2017? I'm guessing a flat ride of some type. I mean, there haven't really been any rumors at all, which leads me to the conclusion it is not going to be a very exciting addition. But why are we complaining? I mean, we just got a new steel coaster this season.
  17. Disaster?
  18. You're 15 so we understand. You're 14 so we understand. Yes, because assuming that the only reason people might be disappointed in a new roller coaster's layout is because they're teenagers is so mature.
  19. If that rendering is correct, then there is no way the surprise is a drop track, since the shed is one story, starting at the level of the track. The rendering may not be correct, though.
  20. This is why Americans are so easy to brain wash. You starve people to the point where they will be thrilled with any bone you throw them. I would hardly call a 4D Free Spin a "bone". It's a fun and crazy ride that would be a hit at our park. Our park is hardly being neglected. Other than RMCs, no other Six Flags parks are getting huge, unique coasters lately. Full Throttle in 2013 was the last one, I believe.
  21. I hate you, because you're probably right. Although I would love STL to get a unique steel coaster, after riding The Joker at Great Adventure I would love for one to come to our park. They're a ton of fun.
  22. I'm not so sure that this will be the case here in St. Louis. When I visited earlier this year (in the spring), Boss was closed for low temperature, and I believe Pandemonium did as well.
  23. Actually, it would be the fifth (Over Texas, St. Louis, Mexico, and Great America). Honestly, it seems that most Six Flags parks will receive one in the near future.
  24. 1. Outlaw Run 2. The Voyage 3. Millennium Force 4. Maverick 5. El Toro 6. Thunderbird 7. Powder Keg 8. Lightning Run 9. Goliath (Six Flags Great America) 10. Raging Bull Honorable Mention: Diamondback, Incredible Hulk, Kingda Ka
