How exactly does this feature work? Are they paper tickets, or via the app, or they scan your physical membership card? You show your card at the location that sells fastlane to get scanned, and they give you a paper for each fastlane. You have to tell them what attractions you want to use them on, and they write that attraction and number of people in your party on the paper. It looks like a paper receipt. And you say it applied to the whole party? So if Im a mega deluxe member and my gf isnt, we both get in? I wonder if thats also the case for concert priority seating

Odd that they would introduce it in the winter when their big season pass push is September-October. I did a comparison and at least this past weekend, the gold tier was indeed cheaper and superior to the gold season pass. However, the benefits werent really there to go up to platinum. I found it interesting that the mega double diamond deluxe tier seems to include everything.......except discounted/free locker use. I find it insane that they still havent found a way to tie in your pass or phone app with the storage units. It is annoying to have to wait in line to use the kiosk every time.

Is it really that unexpected? I feel like once every decade or so Six Flags buys a bunch of parks, then sells a bunch of parks, then buys more parks, closes some parks, buys more... This has been happening for many, many years even as far back as when they bought parks like Magic Mountain and Great Adventure. I don't have the time to do the research now because I have many better things to do with my time, but I'm sure someone could draw up a pattern over time between their buying and shedding of parks over the years... 1. Economy is doing good 2. Remove water-rides at your hottest parks 3. Buy a bunch of new parks 4. Remove trees at your hottest parks 5. Economy collapses 6. Remove more water-rides and trees at your hottest parks 7. Sell a bunch of parks We're between 3 and 5 right now

X2 requires paid storage. They have people watching to prevent people from trying to dump stuff on the side or hide it in the station. Not when I was there. You are guided to the storage area, but you could leave your stuff on top. Considering there are only 3 trains worth of people allowed in that area at the time, it is safe. Additionally, placing the paid storage in the station is much better than at the ride entrance, as it lets you have your items during your wait.

New ride looks like a lot of fun, although capacity seems low. I wonder if it will be oriented so that the light show is very visible to people leaving the park. Would make a great goodbye photo op. On another note... I was at Magic Mountain last week, and not a single ride forced use of the paid storage machines. Not one. Oh, and ride opps were as good, if not better than Great Adventure. So those of you who defend the forced paid storage machines should visit the chain's premiere park to see how it is done.

VR cost them $650 * 16 = $10,400 + some electrical for recharging. So let's say $20,000. You wont get a single bathroom reno for that price, never mind a ride upgrade. And why bitch about clones? 99% of customers visit one park. It's like complaining that Disney China has Its a Small World. No shit they would.

Is that the building where one of the mazes is 100% in the dark? From having gone in there during the maze, I guess all the seats and such are gone and it's just a shell now with maze stuff. I disagree with the statement that these types of rides have no value. Six Flags management is also known for removing trees and adding concrete, which is idiotic, and removing flumes, which is criminal. They also dont see the value in adding shelter to line rides. Thanks for the great info. Is there a map of buildings showing which ones arent being used? That would be cool to see.
