I was pretty careful in saying amusement park as opposed to theme park (although 99% of the time it's semantics). But let's be honest. Every theme park is either in FL or Cali. Nope. Plenty outside those two states. Plenty outside all the states.

Glad you had fun! This is definitely one of those parks like Dorney and Holiday World, where the waterpark is better than the dry park. Very worth coming back just for the waterpark.

Awesome! Knoebels really is great, and I'm glad you took some time to enjoy it. Over the Top has been disappointing; it looked so cool at IAAPA but it's hardly run. Power Surge is legit, and you're totally justified in riding that again and again. Knoebels is just the best. They run everything the way it should be run, and they have a cool collection of old and new rides. The food is awesome too, although I did manage to get a bad slice at Cesari's once. I could gush over Knoebels all day, it's just that awesome. But you know all this. You spent a week there.

Yes, but it's always a ten minute wait from the point in the queue where you're sitting in the seat with the restraints locked.

Oh, it will be replaced eventually, there's no doubt about that. I really don't see Six Flags making major changes to this park any tine soon though. They'll tweak a few things here and there, but for the most part, they'll sit back and cash the check.

That's how it is around here too. Schools are penalized for having a low attendance %, so on days where too many parents would pull their kids out they'll just call it a school holiday instead. Not all, but a good number of rural districts in MO close the first day of hunting season for exactly this reason.
