Favorite themed area?

I think you got a little Fun Spot in your Universal. My favourite is Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Hollywood. -

I love the haunted house over the entrance and the monster eyes on Eiffel Tower. Very cool. -
Awesome report! You guys do a lot of cool upgrades, and that orca encounter looks amazing. I'm a big fan of penguins, and it's cool to see they allow you to get so close. The St. Louis Zoo has a penguin encounter that close as well, and we always enjoy that. And a f*cking Camaro for an economy price? You are lucky as sh*t.

^ Hmm...there is no reason why any sane, rational, hygienic person would regret skipping a Boomerang, but there is one reason a coaster enthusiast would: It's being replaced and you missed your chance for a...*gasp* credit. With that and the dinosaurs gone, there's a lot of real estate for a coaster in Zambezi Zinger's old spot.

Undoubtedly ERT on SteVen, at least at night. They've typically done ERT at the front of the park in the morning and at the back at night. Got my hotel booked for Coastermania already--it's always the Friday after Memorial Day, so easy to plan. Just waiting for those tickets to go on sale.... -

I was in a line about that long when I was there a couple of months ago, and including the time it took to add a second train, I was on in 22 minutes. -

Damn straight. I'd say have a good time, but it's impossible not to. -
^ Oh the heartbreak. Only ride at Dorney that was down the whole day I was there. Yeah, as far as Cedar Fair parks go, it's not that bad. I enjoyed my time there. The coasters were a bit lackluster, but several of the flats were good, especially the whip, and they've got one of the best log flumes anywhere. Could be a lot worse, really.

SteVen looks so great. Already got the hotel booked for Coastermania, just waiting for tickets to go on sale. Cannot wait to revisit one of the best parks anywhere. -
What's new for 2018

I really appreciate your collecting all these here. Makes it easy to keep up. -
Awesome man! Shedd is the best aquarium anywhere, knew you couldn't pass that up. I've been to Wrigley and Fenway, and both are absolutely amazing experiences. Chicago deep dish is an abomination. I know that may be anathema for a Midwesterner, but I really do like New York style better. You gotta try St. Louis style though when you do eventually come to Missouri. It's thin crust, topping heavy, and awesome. Imo's is the quintessential St. Louis chain. You may or may not like it, but it's everything Chicago style isn't. Hancock tower is okay if you've never been in a tall building, but I thought the water tower was a better experience. Then again, I'm way more into history than you are. Good move on not spending half a day there.

^ Yep. I'm becoming less tolerant of foods that have side effects, and the biggest culprit is sugar. I've done my best to avoid caffeine and such, but a couple of weeks ago really became interested in limiting sugar as much as possible. The negative health effects of sugar are way worse than just about everything else out there. Water is just the best thing you can possibly drink. I know places want to sell sugary drinks because they're profitable, and sometimes I feel bad asking for water because it makes me seem cheap, but if water is what I really want, then that's what I'm getting.

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

Thunderation this afternoon -
Had a great day at SDC. Very minimal attendance today, everything's a walk-on except Powder Keg, which had a whopping wait of 3 cycles. Flooded Mine was looking and running great! Something new in the old magic box location. The top hat. Now that it's fall, you can see it a bit more clearly through the trees. Some catwalk is up on the brake run, but there's still more to go.
