  1. I was just there in August. There is only one thing wrong with El Toro, and that's that they make you put everything in a fluffy bunny before you ever get in the line. The ride is fast, smooth, and awesome. If you don't like it, fine, but then roller coasters might not be a good hobby for you.
  2. I'm quite a fan of both rides. I think honestly you'll probably like Diamondback a little better. They're very different rides, and are excellent for different reasons. Diamondback does the classic roller coaster stuff to perfection. Skyrush will change your expectations of what a roller coaster can do. But what's really important is that both parks have a beer man.
  3. Awesome! Well, this certainly elevates this from a ride I figured would be similar to Dark Knight to a ride I think I'll quite enjoy. Seems like I underestimated it.
  4. The real question is how jealous are you going to be when I'm on the first train of the year in the new seats it's pretty much equal to being the first rider opening year who cares about credits it's about the first train of the day and the last train of the day
  5. I'm hoping all of you with no O are planning a trip to Missouri this year. We've got the best O. Everyone says it's the biggest and the best and everyone loves it, believe me.
  6. Intamin giga. Specifically Millennium Force. That ride rocks. Larry or Moe?
  7. Awesome that you got such a good crew on TC! That ride is incredible when it races. Still very good when it doesn't, but the racing makes the ride. Justice League is a fantastic dark ride, and I agree way better than I expected from SF. Very impressed. Sounds like you had a good time.
  8. The real question is how many new credits to count Diamondback with black seats. Are they all the same shade of black, or are there some blacker blacks than could provide a substantially different ride experience and therefore be another credit? I think to be safe, we should count this as 32 new credits.
  9. Yeah, I've heard about the line, so I'm already planning to ride that one first. That's exciting about the theming though. Good theming always makes any ride more fun.
  10. I've ridden a bunch more coasters in the last 3 years, so I have a radically different list now. Apocalypse (SFMM) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Anaheim) Comet (Hersheypark) Diamondback El Toro Fahrenheit Goliath (SFGAm) Hydrus Impulse Joker (SFGAdv) Kingda Ka Lightning Run Millennium Force Nitro Outlaw Run Phoenix Revenge of the Mummy (USH) Skyrush Thunderbird (HW) Underground Voyage Wild Eagle X-Flight Zach's Zoomer
  11. I haven't been on this one, but I always hate for a park to lose a dark ride. They are really fun for everyone. I have kids with various interests, but everyone enjoys a dark ride. I wish more parks had one, and yet parks seem to ve ripping them out.
  12. Very good video, thanks for sharing! PKI Jizzman, I'm surprised to hear such praise for Exterminator. Usually people talk a lot about Phantom and the older coasters but not that one. I am a fan of very highly themed rides, so that excites me, but otherwise I hear it's really just a wild mouse. What makes Exterminator so good?
  13. Ah, that's disappointing. Better not to expect it though. I'll be there Sunday June 3, and since that's a slow day for pretty much every park, sounds like there's zero chance then. Thanks for good info though.
  14. There is a Skyride in the parking lot. Okay, so I was tooling around on Google Maps today (Thursday is my Friday and I'm mostly done for the week, yay), and I saw the most beautiful thing. So it looks like I can only get there from the furthest parking lot. If I get to the park early, can I just choose to park back there? Would they make me wait until the closer lots fill first? Basically, how do I ride this Skyride?
  15. Wow, that looks really great. I'm going to need to see a train on that thing to figure out how it all works. Really impressed by this ride. I'll get to SF one of these days, but looking forward to riding its sister in Texas this summer.
  16. Why compromise? The Hershey Tower does both! Timber Mountain Log Ride or Splash Mountain?
  17. That's awesome. Haven't seen a compromise that good in American politics in quite some time. Restores my faith in the system just a little.... ....And I just saw the latest headline. Back to cynicism.
  18. Enjoying some English Beat this afternoon. For the kids who don't know about them, here you go: [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]

Sea Serpent Vekoma at Moreys. 169. Diamond Back Arrow at FC. 170. Ninja Arrow at SFSTL. 171. T3 Vekoma at KK. One interesting thing I found from this venture is how little junk I've been on. My actual count is 232, and about 30 of those are defunct coasters. With the 171 on this list, that means I've only been on about 30 junk coasters. I'm sure most of those are children's coasters I rode either as a child or with my children, as I nearly always skip them otherwise (except you, Kozmo's Curves, you're all right).
  20. All those things are working for me, thanks! A bug has appeared, though, after scrolling up while dragging a coaster, once I drop it into place, it sometimes keeps scrolling up indefinitely. Even if I scroll down, it keeps automatically scrolling up. Even if it gets to the top, when I scroll down again, it resumes scrolling up. The only way to fix it is to refresh the page. Also, Spongebob at Nick Universe is listed as an RMC; should be Gerstlauer.
  21. Going to Cedar Point is awesome, but I don't think you should leave your house just yet.
