After I went and actually ranked everything for the poll, here's a pseudoscientific way of determining which park has the best top 2 coasters (which is not at all related to which ones I think are the best parks overall):
1. Cedar Point: Millennium Force (1) and Magnum XL-200 (7) = 8 pts.
2. Holiday World: Voyage (6) and Thunderbird (12) = 18 pts.
3. Knoebels: Phoenix (3) and Twister (16) = 19 pts.
4. Hersheypark: Skyrush (4) and Lightning Racer (23) = 27 pts.
5. Kentucky Kingdom: Lightning Run (14) and Storm Chaser (15) = 29 pts.
6. Dollywood: Mystery Mine (10) and Wild Eagle (20) = 30 pts.
7. SF Magic Mountain: Twisted Colossus (13) and Tatsu (22) = 35 pts.
8. SF Great America: Goliath (17) and X-Flight (19) = 36 pts.
9. Kings Island: Diamondback (9) and The Beast (29) = 38 pts.
10T. Disneyland: Space Mountain (11) and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (28) = 39 pts.
10T. SF Great Adventure: El Toro (5) and Nitro (34) = 39 pts.
Yes, just to be clear: If you have a Platinum pass, it's $20 whether you buy it in advance or at the park. Don't buy in advance if you have a Platinum pass.
If you don't have a Platinum pass, it's $20 in advance and $30 at the park. Buy in advance if you don't have a Platinum pass.
They are readily available at the park. They cost $20 in advance or if you have a Platinum pass; $30 at the park if you don't have a Platinum pass. So with a pass there's no need to buy them in advance.
All right, Coastermania itinerary! I had figured it would be stuff in the back of the park. I don't remember Gemini, Magnum, and Skyhawk having long lines that day, so 2 hours of SteVen and Maverick is awesome!
Bummed about no Brews & BBQ.... Okay, they have Melt, I'm over it.
Snowfall caused travel misery on rail and roads in France as train services were hit, tailbacks reached record levels around Paris, bus services were halted and lorries were barred from the busiest roads around the capital.
Authorities in the greater Paris region of Île-de-France raised the level of their "snow and ice plan" to "three" which meant HGVs were not allowed to circulate on the region's main arteries. Trucks either have to accept detours or stay off the road.
Oh wow, seriously? That would never, never fly here. I love France.
