Looking on Google earth, I don't see anywhere that it would fit at the art of animation resort. I do think it would look great if they put it out by one of the highways coming towards The resort complex coming from the airport... Although I don't like it at Hollywood studios, it is a nice icon to do something with, I hope they don't to scrap it...

I agree with you, it's all about perspective. As a local enthusiast, I've taken this chance to go explore other parks in the greater region. Last year we went to SFNE, Knobles, Hershey, Dorney and Coney Island. Next year were doing a massive 9 Day tour spanning most of the eastern half of the U.S. while SFGAdv gets act together... Hopefully by 2016, they'll have done some nice work to the park and it will be worth visiting!

Clear skies over Carowinds and not a single construction work to be seen... Good, that's the way it should be, Merry Christmas!

Looking ahead as well, they need to finish the tunnel area before they can place track... Is it possible that they would skip that section and come back to it at the end? I know they said that construction would continue through the course, but this hiccup makes sense in my mind....

I never noticed from all the promotional videos that the first turn around was more of a flat turn, unlike Leviathan which is more of an over naked turn.... This thing is really going to be a great ride, one that seems to offer a few variations from Leviathan, making it for a different ride! So excited for July when I get down there to ride it!

Adventureland on LI in NY took out their SDC Hurricane, and they said it was going to a park in Florida, but we have yet to see it... It could be a nice addition to Fun Spot, and given its small footprint, works quite well...

I think what is most exciting is how lost in the shot the track looks right now. A new parking lot and entrance is really going to add a lot to this ride. I hope they plant some nice trees that will grown in over some of these turns!

Now that we have a little closer of a view of the underside of the track, this look looks amazing, and really will add some nice color to the front of the park! They are FLYING, but we knew that would happen with the low to the ground sections... the turn around should take a few days though I think...

Well I just threw up... Wish I could stomach these types of rides...

I love this light green under the track... I really hope more parks see how great this can look and do this as well! Not a surprise that the track close to the ground is going up quick, but I'm still surprised HOW quick!

If I remember correctly the first turn on Leviathan had some nice strong G's for a split second or so...

It is definitely deafening... When we went last June, it was amazing how hard each other at the room waiting for the park to open... Waiting in the station is painful as GP, wish they would find a way to make it better...

I'm confused, what's with the off center garage door at the top? Kind of hard to park that high up off the ground...

Your not alone, I've been there five times in the past six years and have enjoyed myself each time. It's not a picture perfect park where they wait on you hand and foot and everything runs perfectly all day long, but it's still a nice park, with a nice river and friendly people from what I've experienced... I just choose not to participate in the complain bregade... No park is perfect, I can't think of one that is... Every park has something it could do better...

I know we all say it over and over again, but I am so glad so many parks are doing off season updates this year... really helps get you through the cold snowy months with the light at the end of the tunnel of great trips to come!! #9days90coasters
