What Rides Scares the Crud Out Of You?

Any crazy mouse rides, and Tilt-A-Whirls. I always think they're going to fly off the track. -

Nice update. It looks all shiny and new! -
That sounds like the only possible way to do it. Unless they hired a real wizard It's a team job: one employee will yell " Hey did you just take his wallet? He just took that guy's wallet!" Then as the guest are looking they'll quickly place the food on the table. That would be awesome. Of course the employee would have to be dressed in appropriate 1950's clothes. How popular is Harry Potter in Japan?

Can't we just go to a buffet this year?

Six Flags Over Texas (SFOT) Discussion Thread
jray21 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I disagree. It doesn't make much sense to add an unnecessary restraint that will lower capacity. For some of the guests it'll make them feel safer and gives SF an easier way to defend a death lawsuit in the future by having 2 restraints instead of one. It's much cheaper to add seat belts to all the trains, then one single lawsuit due to another death would cost. I think it really sucks, but it's all about liability. -

Tokyo Disney Resort Discussion Thread

Haha! That's awesome. I really miss Tokyo Disney. They really do have the most amazing merchandise. I would love to have even 1/4 of the variety here in the US. -
Thanks for the photo report! I can't believe they actually got rid of the monorail! So is that a Texas law according to SF as well? Like Jew said, It's a Six Flags policy, not a state law. It's just easier for SF to say it's a state law instead of having to justify to every person who asks why they added seat belts. Saying, "It's a state law" sounds much better than, "because we killed someone."

Tapped my own stupid tile. Got to wait another 3 days! I'll do another round in just a few. Also, finally started the Turkey calling stuff.

More pictures from IAAPA 2013! Such a cool ride. Too bad it only lasted one season. You can't make roller coasters without wheels? Right? Hellllloooooo Mr. Creepy Pumpkin guy! Gotta be honest, these KumbaK SLC trains were kinda comfy! Anyone ridden them in Australia? Love these crazy looking Japanese kids play areas! Wish the USA would get some of these! I admit, we had our fill of Fanta Zero Peach from Coke Freestyle at IAAPA! Technical Park was showing off this flat ride... Thing! Of you need a thatched hut... Well, you can even get one at IAAPA! Wait, what ride is this? Dark ride systems seemed quite plentiful at IAAPA this year. Closer look at that Gravity Group Dino Timberliner train! Looks awesome!!!

Here are a few more photos! Seems like we are seeing lots more haunt, themed attractions, and animatronics at IAAPA than ever before! Max, Buff, and Melvin, anyone? Martin & Vlemincks have announced FOUR new Gravity Group designed woodies for China! 3 in 2014, 1 in 2015! Mapping out the four new Gravity Group / MVR wood coasters in China!
