I've always found those hole in the wall places to be pretty amazing. I love 'real' fries like those, and the sandwich looks great! -
Psyclone really was extremely painful. I try to forget that ride even existed.

I haven't heard much either way at all about windows 8. Normally you hear how terrible it is, or that it's the greatest thing ever. Windows 8 is talked about as much as the Wii U, which is virtually never. I don't like the way it looks, but what makes it so terrible. I'm still using XP on most of my windows computers.

I really hope they have an update soon! The last one was way too small. I also need to expand my town a little more and build up Burn's Mansion.

That does make more sense. It just odd that that a member of congress is requesting all this compliance information before anything has actually been implemented, and based 100% on a New York Times article. I understand it's just a request for information, but basing it solely on a newspaper article seems pretty bad to me. I would think they would have to wait for a complaint before they should even care.

Really incredible update! Lot's of awesome pictures and crazy China stuff! I would definitely love to visit this park someday. Thanks for the update!

That guy's an idiot. It's really no different than all the information all the companies all over the world currently collect. iTunes, cell phones, credit cards, cruises, shopping malls, tv, almost everything we do is used by the companies we do business with to collect our data. It's called marketing. He really does have a thing against the amusement park industry.

How is the food at HKDL? Is it anywhere near TDL and Disney Sea? -
Interesting idea. I go to quite a bit of 3D movies and if the focus is even slightly off it can ruin the picture. That being said, I wonder how well the effect would work on movin/falling water. Could be really cool if they get it right. Also, I could see them putting this effect more in the inside shows like A Bug's Life, or my hope, Muppet Vision 3D.

The winners were all really really good! Loved seeing all the other ones as well! -
I've heard it was close to this bad was when they first offered the Goofy. I've ran every Disneyland 1/2 except for the first one, and a few WDW marathon/goofy races and have never seen it even close to this bad. I've never see the 1/2 sell out this fast, but every year it's been earlier and earlier. I can't believe that only 3 days after opening every single race is already full! I'm scared for next year!

Kentucky Kingdom (SFKK, KK) Discussion Thread

You'd think that in this economy they would want them to succeed. Either let them open it and give them good terms or say no and let someone build something else. -
I still haven't heard from RunDisney about our actual registration, but a lady did call this morning to get Amy's credit card for her paper registration since Amy forgot a number. So at least now both of our credit cards have been charged. I received a generic confirmation email, but like I said before, the link to verify the info didn't work, and a call to Active.com said that I wasn't registered for any race. So we'll see, but at least we can show that we did pay for the race! They did offer Disney Visa members early access to registration, and they also offered early registration to AP members. I think they announced it on their Twitter feed, as I don't recall seeing anything on the websites, emails, or Facebook, but I may be wrong. Disney is notorious for having terrible servers for special event signups that something this big could cause them to go to a lottery system. Hopefully not, but we'll see!
