Sounds like there might have been a power outage/surge. Honestly, Jay may have set a good example, but I got the feeling no one bought into what he was trying to sell after awhile. I felt like things reverted back to their historical (crappier) levels after his first year. But lets be honest---until Six Flags decides to invest real money in their employees in the form of real perks/benefits besides free tickets, a better employee cafeteria, pays them more than minimum wage, offers competitive salaries to their management, etc...nothing is going to change. There has to be an actual support system in place for a culture change to succeed. To me, the perception of Bonnie as "the ice queen" is just her conceding the fact she will make no change to the culture because that's not their business model. A perfect example: the mechanics/electricians responsible for the rides seem to bail on SFMM as soon as there are openings at other theme parks. Because the pay and benefits are FAR less than what they can get at USH or DLR...even after they had to fight hard to unionize 10 years ago. I absolutely agree. Until the culture and support structure changes, it doesn't matter who is park president because it will be the same. As for the Yolo website, they are still showing the animated video with the "You Only Live Once" beginning. You'd think since the ride is actually open they would put the real video up.

I can't believe Flying Turns is actually testing! That's great news, I hope it opens soon.

I got the update with nothing as well. However, about an hour ago they said on Facebook that they will be unlocking the new content soon. Hopefully, that means a few hours, and not days. EDIT: Update is now live. There's a few 4th of July stuff. Money: American Flags is $5600, Nighthawk Diner with a character is unlocked on "Rockets Red Glare Part 4." Doughnuts: Lincoln's Cabin -150 doughnuts, also unlocks Abraham Lincoln Pinwheel Firework - 30 doughnuts, .75% bonus Box of Fireworks - 50 doughnuts, 2.25% bonus

I'm excited to see what they do with the Wet 'n' Wild land! You could do a lot with the existing park, or with a completely new park!

The things they talked about sounds amazing. It's really cool what they are thinking of doing. However, I'm surprised they never addressed the elephant in the room, the tan lines!

Agreed. I also need to get back since i was only able to try about 1/3 of the food they offer there! I also agree that the kiddie coaster is pretty fun!

Totally agree with Joey and Wes. Families have money, and Knott's has been doing well targeting them again. As for expansions or new rides, I'd love to see Pony Express be extended. It's a unique ride, but way too short. However, I would love another dark ride.

I would love to see the park expand, as well as the Chocolate World. It is massive, but when we visited it was completely slammed and we couldn't do anything in there.

It's pretty sad, every time I'm around my real town (Sparks, NV) and see a bug I think of what kind of bug it is and how many bells I could get for it.

I really hate this update. It's absolutely killed the game for me. Anytime an update came out I loved all the previous characters and new buildings, but the way this one worked out I just have no excitement anymore. I totally understand them wanting to extend the amount of time the updates last, but they went way off the deep end with this one. I'll admit that I have said numerous times that the updates are completed too soon, but this is the polar opposite of that. Make the pieces every 8 or twelve hours, or make them cost a lot more, or just make the building and required tasks longer. I'm all for making money, but I'm not going to spend doughnuts to speed up a task, I'd rather spend them on buildings or things like that. Previously, in between updates I would log in about 2 times a day, and tons more during an update. Now, I log in maybe once every 2 days, and that's after a major update. It's just really annoying.

^That sucks! My brother lives in Vegas and they are going to hit 117! I honestly don't know how anyone can live there or Arizona. I can't stand the heat.

Even worse, predictions are 104-107. For the Reno area, that is hell on earth.

I'm still waiting for mine. It's the second day for me. Got the museum expansion done, and the Dream Suite. I still need to pick up some cherries.

Thanks for the review. Is the Shamu Rocks show like their other whale shows in that there is just music in the background and the whales just do random things? That's one reason I really like the sea lion show, because it's an actual show. I never did like the killer whale shows because they always seemed like the trainers were just practicing random stuff with music in the background.

^That sounds like an option from one of the love hotels! Awesome update! That's really awesome that they let you do a walk through of Spiderman! I would have loved it. I've never gotten down to that park but definitely want to in the future!
