  1. Thanks, but as to where the fluid and steam appear from I am still confused.
  2. OK- so how exactly does the launch on Top Thrill Dragster work? And what is all the water dripping from the track?
  3. Probably Indiana Beach on the 11th of August. Maybe SFGAm once before then.
  4. It's my number two. I just like the extreme power of Millennium Force better.
  5. Oh my god! I wasn't overly excited about Maverick, until I rode it. Never have I had so much fun on a Roller Coaster in my life. WOW!
  6. I got on Raptor in 10 minutes. Excellent ride with a fantastic finale!
  7. Just wanted to make a few notes about my experiences. I thought Cedar Point was a very well laid-out park with plenty of truly excellent rides. However, I was disappointed with a lot things, too. I was disappointed that the park was so dirty. There was trash on the ground, the paths were dirty, and the bathrooms were the most disgusting things I have ever seen. I was also disappointed that they shut down all major rides in the slightest bit of rain, and have to send 10 trains out post-rain. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there, however. We went on Millennium Force twice in the back row. First time was an hour exactly and the second time was more like 45 minutes. TTD annoyed the heck out of me. First of all, we waited 2 hours in the queue for them to send out about a dozen trains. We gave up. We went on Power tower the down side, then Maxair. Maxair was great! After a short, cheap dinner ($4.50 for hot dog and fries), we went to Magnum. That was a lot of fun with no wait. After Magnum, we did Gemini for another great ride with virtually no line. From there we waited for Maverick for 2 hours (15 minutes was due to a Mechanical shutdown. That ride was absolutely fantastic. I have never laughed so much on a ride in my life. From there, we went back to Dragster to give it another try. This time we got on in under 30 minutes. The launch was incredible, that is all I can say. After dragster we decided to hit up Iron Dragon, which had a boring 1st half but a fantastic finale after the second lift. One more ride on Millennium Force, Power tower (the up side) and finally Raptor. I have been on Batman: TR, Dueling Dragons, Montu, etc. I was blown away by Raptor. That ride was incredible! Overall here are my ratings for the rides we rode: Gemini Red: 8/10 Iron Dragon: 7/10 Magnum: 8/10 Maverick: 10/10 millennium Force: 10/10 Raptor: 10/10 Top Thrill Dragster: 10/10 _ Maxair: 10/10 Power tower up: 8/10 Power tower down: 9/10 Also, we went to Kalahari in Sandusky. What a blast. Perhaps the best indoor waterpark I have ever been to. Their Zip Coaster was by far the best ride, and it delivered great speed and airtime too!
  8. We went on a Friday and hit up the waterpark because the theme park was crowded. Had a blast at Hurricane harbor!
  9. ^Yeah, they may use the emergency exits as entrances in emergencies to enter the water safely. As long as they can do it withing their 10/20.
  10. Agreed. However, I think the Wilderness in the Dells claims the world's first interactive wavepool. There are depth charges and water guns that guests can control.
  11. OK Way cool. However, I think the theming could be so much better. Look at typhoon lagoon.
  12. For the first time ever, we stayed on property. All I can say is that the Wilderness Lodge is breathtaking! We will stay there again in a heartbeat!
  13. To me they are VERY different rides. I mean that is kind of like saying why would King's Island have two launched coasters, Flight of Fear and Italian Job. V2 is based on Impulse, Deja Vu has a much more drawn out beginning, and is based mainly on inversions. I mean you can also look at Elitch Gardens, they have Boomerang and Half Pipe.
  14. Cool TR. I was at the park last Thursday. At first I wondered why GD was shut down. Upon checking online when I got home, it all suddenly made sense. I love SFGAm. No Hurrican Harbor pics? By the way, did you check out Show Stoppin'? It really kicked major butt!
  15. ^ I really like the quality and ease of use of Canon Digital Cameras. One that would be perfect for Photo TR's would be the Canon SD1000. It is an ELPH, so it is super slim and can fit in Jean pockets, and it is 7.1 MP. At only $250, I think it's a great value as well.
  16. ^ Haha. That's why I went on the 40 degree rainy day.
  17. I Love American Eagle- especially Red. I was there on the 18th. We got on a lot, however since most children are still in school, the lines were lengthy for the "older crowd attractions" aka- Roller Coasters. However, we still had a blast. I returned on the 20th. It was cold, therefore the park was dead. We started with Viper, then the Bull, then Giant Drop, American Eagle and Iron Wolf. Only an hour had elapsed. In the afternoon there was a 90 minute storm that drove most people out of the park. When the rides resumed operation, we were in business. Overall we rode the following attractions on the 20th alone: Coasters: Whizzer Viper- 3 times back row, 1 time front row Raging Bull, 3 times back row, 3 times other various rows American Eagle Red- 2 times back row, 1 time front row Iron Wolf- 1 time back row V2- 1 time middle, 1 time front row Batman TR: 2 times front row Superman UF, 1 time back row Ragin Cajun', 1 time Flats: hometown fun machine, river rocker, giant drop, cars, revolution, fiddler's fling, chubasco. What a perfect day to go!
  18. I believe Iron Wolf may have a no earring sign. Well, that'd be a great thing. I have to wrap my hands around the harness in order to ride that ride lately. It used to be my favorite at SFGAm!
  19. My favorite would have to be Chang at SFKK.
  20. I see what you are trying to say. I agree.
  21. I wanna go there bad!
  22. Not technically. I work at an indoor water resort and we still have to shut down in lightning. It's becoming more of a standard nation wide as well.
  23. This looks really cool. But can I ask a quick one... Why indoors in HOTlanta?
  24. From my own experiences I'd have to say Riverview Park in the dells. Dirty, scary ride-ops, poorly maintained, etc. The only perk is that after 5pm you can use their water park until 7 and theme park until 10 for only $5 as of a few years ago.
