  1. Fixed. Well, you could say that about most people on twitter....
  2. ^ As far as coustomer service and operations (in my experience and some others experiences, including the TPR midwest tour) they are "okay-ish" Although I will have to say that their ride collection is pretty good.
  3. That happens every night in Detroit. Haven't you heard how bad the crime is there? In all seriousness though, it's definintly a publicity stunt, no town or city unless it is in North Korea would allow that kind of thing to happen. As you can see here: http://www.eonline.com/news/570021/louisville-purge-hoax-threat-inspired-by-movie-sparks-fears-and-police-action I'm sure the kid who tweeted it didn't mean any harm.
  4. Seaworld had an entire movie convincing people not to go there. Even though it was a horribly inaccurate movie, it was a powerful movie psycologically and convinced many people not to go there. Cedar Fair's claims can be held true too. A power outage leads to guests complaining about their time there, no matter how many things the park gives them to make their day better, and they complain to their families and friends, who complain to their families and friends, leading to an everlasting chain of people who are convinced Cedar Point and Valleyfair are bad parks. Also, building a wall around a hundred acre theme park would be a major investment and would probably help only a little, as it only flooded ONCE so far this entire year. Plus, have you BEEN to SFFM, La Ronde, SFA, SFOT, or any of the bad SF parks? I mean, SF definintly has a few gems, but when a majority of their parks are only okay down to horrible, they have some good reasons for getting a bad rap. Therefore my entire rant was about this post.
  5. Nevermind about what I posted earlier, Ultimate U-Turn is definintly going to be it.
  6. Nuclear Colossus, calling it now. Although my roller coaster name, Dueling Knight, doesn't sound too bad.
  7. Yes. Not as reliable as B&M but way more reliable than a lot of coaster companies out there. I don't really understand why intamin gets such a bad rap for reliablility. In my experience I have seen more B&M coasters break down than intamin coasters. Sure, there are some cable accidents, but those are still very far and few inbetween.
  8. Half the fun of the RCT series was peep bowling, trying to drown/kill everyone, and just making the most unrealistic horrifying coasters ever. Now they're making an entire game out of it WITH A DESTRUCTION ENGINE!? I mean, while making unfinished coasters in RCT was fun and all, you couldn't hurdle a ride at a wall, and make the wall explode! I cannot wait.
  9. The logo has such a low resolution on the website, plus some of the text looks quite unofficial. This looks pretty fake.
  10. Considering this is only a month after the expansion opened, i'm definintly looking foreward to november of next year (when I get to go) as there will be (most likely) no crowds. I just can't wait!
  11. The Hero (of Lime) because he loves a good baconator. They hid out in Antarctica's best theme park, Random Antarctic Park (owned by none other than Hero of Lime, Est. Some random page in this thread, or, if you have a good memory, that one time on TPR chat) and stayed there sucessfully for multiple years, as Antarctica has no laws, therefore you cannot be arrested. Somewhere else....
  12. It's like your own personal youtube poop! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8Gs1azC1b4
  13. ^^ and ^^^ The game is still in it's early stages, and not much can be done with it other then terrain, trees, paths, scenery and flat rides. But, i'm sure as the other phases are released (especially the roller coaster phase) there will be more and more threads containing parks and coasters. The game is out as an early access game on steam for 30.00 USD, and while i'm waiting for the roller coasters to be added to get it, you can get it now.
  14. it drowned in Laker Erie because it was actually DarienLaker, and as we all know, DarienLakers cannot breath underwater, even with magical power. But then, just seconds later, Cedar Point underwent an earthquake that cause all the rides to...
  15. ^ Yeah, honestly i'm super jealous of that title.
  16. died. And nothing of value was lost. Then suddenly all vekoma boomerangs had good restraints, there were no longer wars, and we had officially declared world peace. Until...
  17. I'm kind of half-hoping this thing is going to turn out to be a kiddie coaster and all the specualtion we've been making is for nothing.
  18. I was there a few days ago when they were only running one train, and the train was flying out in about 40 seconds. The crew just wouldn't let the one train thing let the line move any slower then it ever did. It made what looked like a hour and a half line on a saturday in july a 30 minute line.
  19. I've waited 3 hours to ride a B&M Hyper, and possibly more, as the ride kept breaking down (Goliath SFOG), so I think I could probably tolerate a line upwards of 2-3 hours if it was something really good and everything else was packed too. I probably would've waited in the 7 hour line for Gringotts on opening day,and the rides line just looks so well themed. So if it's a really good ride I could wait 2-3 hours (if there were no other options other then waiting in a line) and if it was a world class ride like something at Disney or Universal I could wait 4-5 hours, and if it is a new world class ride I could wait more then half a day. Which I think is strange considering I usually have no patience with other things and I dread entering a long line, but when i'm in the line I most likely won't get out.
  20. PETA, who turned the scrap metal from the parks into people grinders, to make the world an only animal place. But PETA was stopped by the mighty...
  21. no one. Then Darien Lake literally flooded with speculation for a new ride, leaving some guests to drown in Lake Monster being an RMC and constant refrences to geurstlaur spinning coasters. Because of this a 5 minute investigation was made which led to people believing that the Darien Lake thread on the website Theme Park Review (never heard of it) had become a living entity and was...
  22. He then realized that this thread already exists here: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20770&hilit=continue+the+story
  23. Six Flags Over Georgia never had a boomerang either.
