  1. Looks like a fun Thanksgiving! I don't get to see many musicals except for the ones done by my high school ( ) but I think I'd enjoy Wicked and maybe Newziez as well.
  2. I hope it makes the ride better, because from T2's various POV's, it doesn't look enjoyable. The color scheme doesn't look that bad either, I just feel the black fits it better.
  3. I don't think seatbelts are that much of a problem on rides except for when you have to check them individually before pulling down the main harness. It is very annoying on Aftershock, which already has a seat belt connected to the harness. This doesn't happen on PTC trains, though. I've always been able to pull down my bar after connecting my seat belt before the ride-op checked me on rides like Tremors, Timber Terror, Twister 2, NM Rattler, etc...
  4. The only nicely themed trains I've seen have been SFGAm Demon's and Elitch Sidewinder's, and they are both pretty cool.
  5. Too bad about all the bad coverage. Luckily, it shouldn't affect attendance too much to become a very significant problem for the park. I was happy seeing in someone's TR about pro-SeaWorld people with signs encouraging the park on the same spot as the protesters, kind of like payback against the people who didn't like SeaWorld.
  6. I know right! My exact opinion. Some day someone will end up getting severely injured or die on one of these knockoffs..
  7. I thought it was a funny little video. Didn't quite get it, especially if it was an ad, but it was cute.
  8. I am thankful for Silverwood, my first and favorite theme park. I am also thankful for: -My friends IRL and online. -Elitches and Lakeside. -All the websites and roller coaster things I do when I'm nerdy.
  9. Will they repaint the track? And if so, will it still be green?
  10. Maybe the park will do what La Ronde did with Le Monstre, because they got brand new PTC trains for it.
  11. Definitely what RMC said about Silverwood. I almost exploded! Hope they build it! Lol at what GCI said about craziest thing they were asked to build: "Son of Beast" Cool that Silverwood bought that crazy kiddie spinning coaster! Not surprised since they just worked with SBF Visa for SpinCycle.
  12. ^^Idk, HFEC has been maintaining it pretty well. It was rougher towards the end of this season but I didn't have any bad rides.
  13. ^I think it's a good one. Shaky, but a lot better than SFNE's SLC. No headbanging, either.
  14. I would love it.. Except for that capacity. 8 passengers per train? Really? As if EVERYTHING ELSE in the park didn't have bad enough capacity already! Twister II is the second most popular ride in the park, with Mind Eraser being the top. Everyone here loves Twister II so it'd make no sense to replace it. All in for a new woodie, though.
  15. Looks like a cute, fun little park! Too bad all that cool self-operating stuff is basically "Never in America"
  16. Started the thread but might as well do it myself, since it's been popular. First Boomerang: Flashback, SFNE 2012 First SLC: Mind Eraser, SFNE 2012 First Invertigo: None First G.I.B.: Aftershock, Silverwood 2010 First Flying Dutchman: None First Mine Train: None First Roller Skater: None
  17. Elitches: -Retrack Twister 2. -Give Shake, Rattle, & Roll a longer ride cycle. -Make Half-Pipe and Tower of Doom more reliable. Silverwood: -Operations need to be better. -Give Tremors a 2nd train and have both of the trains be the same as the train on Timber Terror (I.e. Buzz Bars). -Give Corkscrew a new train like the ones of Phantom's Revenge and Lightning Run, while donating the old train on it's transfer track to the National Roller Coaster Museum. -Give Aftershock a single rider line for busy days. -Boulder Beach expansion. -New roller coaster at some point. -Hotel that is planned. Lakeside: -Don't close at the beginning of September!!! Close later so I can visit!!
  18. The ride has more similarities to Phantom's Revenge than the Hyper-Lites, which explains the use of track and trains that Phantom's Revenge uses.
  19. I haven't been on RoS, but it's in New York and I'm in Colorado so :/ I have ridden Bizarro (SFNE) though..
  20. As the title of this topic suggests, I would like to know which of the Vekoma clones were your first. Individually: What was your first Boomerang? Invertigo? G.I.B.? SLC? Flying Dutchman? Mine Train? Roller Skater? Others? Sorry if this has already been asked, I couldn't find anything.
  21. ^^It is kinda weird, but I think since this drop tower is so significantly different from the one that the accident occurred on, people may be able to tell the difference. Then again, people and the press are stupid so there may be some controversy. If the park had purchased an Intamin drop tower though, there would probably be some problems.
  22. I was just wondering "What style/shaping is Lightning Run using? I've seen it before..." Then it hit me.. It looks like Phantoms Revenge! Which is good because that means lots and lots of ! Excited!!
  23. I think Cliffs' realized that they don't have any room, which is sad because they could have used Greezed Lightnin'.
  24. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got really happy! Makes me even more excited for NL2!
  25. It's too bad this ride is having so many severe problems. I guess this one was the revenge of Steel Dragon 2000's old trains, which chucked a wheel 10 years ago. The Smiler hopefully won't be closed for 3 years, though!
