  1. ^How tall is Alpengeist's immelmann? It looks massive but I've never been able to find out exactly how tall it is.
  2. ^^It can also depend on the day (how you are, physically). I rarely greyout but last year when I went to Warner Madrid (where I had already been to) batman gave me quite a few near greyouts which had never happened before. I don't know if it had to do with the fact that I hadn't slept much the two nights before or what it was but it certainly depends on more than just the coaster.
  3. Wow! Pretty exiting that you got to experience a "shark evacuation". I won't say I'd enjoy it but it must definitely be an "interesting" experience.
  4. I've heard Blue Streak's Airtime is insane. I wouldn't call it insane. It's definitely a fun ride for its size, though. And it does have some good air. I just wish it was a bit smoother.
  5. Yes you do kind of sink into those seats and I wish they were a bit straighter (maybe it has to do with the way B&M designed the restraints and how they hold you)
  6. ^Oh, ok. Maybe it has to do with the fact that on the B&M trains the seats and restraints are somewhat "tighter" than Morgan's.
  7. Really? I thought most people said they rode almost exactly the same.
  8. ^Yeah I'm sure it'll be fine. Just because I say it's aggressive I didn't mean painful (I assumed it would be a good thing, I mean, everything about rides like skyrush is aggressive)
  9. ^It does look like it might be a violent twist
  10. Nice photos. I've also flown in an A380 and it was really cool: massive, more spacious that some other planes and pretty quiet.
  11. ^It was supposed to have the tallest, I think. I don't know if it'll be built or not but it would have an amazing collection of coasters.
  12. ^I had also thought about that. Take skyrush: it's not exactly long but I wouldn't call it short yet it's less than 40 seconds. I think less we could draw that line at around 30 maybe 35 seconds. (as it doesn't take a lot of seconds to make a relatively big difference)
  13. I think the term we are looking for isn't "pre drop", I've always called it the "B&M Dip". I can only speak about what I know. That said, I think it has to do with the number of chain dogs that are engaged. Random Coaster Nerd Fact: Each train on Banshee has 1 chain dog which is right above row 2, however they have 7 anti roll backs. The weight is relieved from the chain once half the train has crested. On most coasters you can hear the chain dogs bouncing on the chain as the train begins to speed up. I think this is the stress B&M was trying to eliminate from their earlier designs. Interesting. I had no idea each train only had 1 chain dog. So I suppose that its location has an effect on "how far" the chain goes on the top of the lift. It makes sense now that I think of it. Leviathan's (and Fury's) chain are the ones that end "the earliest" on the top of the lift probably meaning that the dog is further back than on banshee which should explain why those are the only two where the chain catches the train so early. (I think)
  14. ^I just thought it was weird that there were some on the bit before the transfer as it's a bit inclined which means the trains gets moving fairly quickly.
  15. It wouldn't be the first time we see B&M putting tires in weird places. I mean, I guess they have a reason to exist but I can't really see what that is (especially on the second case).
  16. Like with steel dragon, though, the capacity is not as good as the old ones. Still, these should provide a better ride.
  17. It's almost like Goliath at fiesta texas.
  18. I think these haven't been posted yet. Source.
  19. ^So this will be the first dive machine with no turn before the drop, right?
  20. ^It'll be interesting to see what vekoma does wit a custom LSM. I do wish they made more "big" coasters than they've been doing recently.
