  1. I love how all the theming details the drawings showed are actually getting built. Looking really nice.
  2. 2 minutes ago. when was the last time you rode a vekoma?
  3. It's pretty tough to guess. I mean, all we know is that this isn't an invert, flyer or large dive machine so it theoretically could be a wing coaster, floorless, sitting, small dive machine, hyper/giga or even a standup.
  4. ^^I wouldn't say inverted based on that lift piece in the back.
  5. Well, it could be for one of these smaller dive machines but I have no idea.
  6. This one caught my attention in particular not only because of the headchoppers but mainly due to how banked the track on that turn is as that means lots of Gs!
  7. Is it just me or is the average speed simply the length of the track (the ride part) divided by the time it takes from end of lift/launch to the brakes? The problem is that we don't know how long that part is, only the total length of track so we can make a rough estimation.
  8. If we could know how long the brakes+transfer+station on Furius baco are we could get an average speed. Any guesses?
  9. ^Well it could be worse. The closest park I have (not considering waterparks) is in Madrid which is 6 hours from where I live, so....
  10. That was the first coaster that I thought of. Really close to the ground all the time and you hit the brakes pretty fast. I'd also like to know how fast the heartline roll is taken.
  11. ^Well I honestly have no idea. I'm not the best at making coaster predictions. They could use a B&M, though (or an intamin)
  12. ^Interesting. I've never had that particular problem. What I don't like that much is how rough it can get sometimes (especially closer to the back).
  13. A bit off topic but I wonder if they could be getting a new ride next year as there seems to be a trend of installing a coaster 5 years after the previous one: 1996 - Fujiyama, 2001 - Dodonpa, 2006 - Eejanaika, 2011 - Takabisha. Just a thought, though.
  14. ^Yeah, I also noticed that. Really cool
  15. ^I wonder how much work they've been doing on it to keep it smooth. (retracking and so on)
  16. You know, I wasn't really talking about the track but more about the park itself and other rides, namely superman.
  17. ^Wow that looks great! Nice view for the riders.
  18. ^Maybe they don't really need to. I've heard no complaints about such issue on the Mr. Freeze rides. However on those the trains are going much slower so I don't know.
  19. ^Yeah, of course. I totally get you because they could say that no matter how unlikely that was.
  20. I would actually argue this one is not so dumb. I mean, superman did once get stuck just before the roll and while we may know that the roll has a slight downwards slope to prevent that most people don't.
  21. ^OMG the smell of gas is so good!
