  1. Wicked Twister
  2. The only time I experienced slight grey out was in Nitro's helix before the MCRB. It wasn't particularly unpleasant and it was only for around 3 seconds. Interesting experience.
  3. That's right. And it's very annoying how it always happens when I'm about to ride a coaster.
  4. I don't think so. I believe the track work isn't fully completed yet. I would say around two weeks for testing to start.
  5. Nice video, I actually thought the visual quality was rather good. Maybe not quite the same as gopros but close.
  6. I've had quite a few weird dreams about roller coasters, all I know is that there is always something that doesn't go quite as planned. In one of them I was on a TRP tour to china and we were riding a wooden coaster that, somehow, wasn't finished yet 'cause the supports weren't properly bolted so the whole structure would swing quite a bit when the train traveled along the course . Actually, the ride had some nice airtime. Second one: I was riding Skyrush and during the lift hill climb the restraint opened and I had to hold on for dear life the whole way (specially during that last small but powerful airtime hill). Third: I was going to ride el toro with my mom but the entrance was made through a Mexican restaurant which even had a mariachi band playing (strange) . But the worst part was that the dream felt quite real until the ride started and them I realized it was just a dream and all the fun was lost. Another one: I was at Hershey park but Talon (which was supposed to be at dorney) was there and it was floorless instead of inverted (oh, and rita: queen of speed (alton towers) was also there). One more: I was at... somewhere with a lot of mountains where kingda ka and some arrow loopscrew were located but there was no one there. Another one: I was at a park that had intimidator 305 and skyrush and, this time, because the seats on skyrush were supposedly uncomfortable, the ride ops gave us a handful of hay to place over the area where we were going to sit so that it would be more confortable . Dream number 1443840: Cedar point was located near a small farm that my grandmother owns (which is in the middle of nowhere) and they had intimidator 305! Unfortunately, we couldn't ride it because someone was murdered inside the park and they closed it. Finally, last night I dreamt that I was, once more, at hershey park and they had two extra coasters: nitro and possessed. We had the fast lane/pass thingy but, once more, when I was about to ride a coaster the dream stopped feeling real which is very unnerving. So, to summarize, I must have a problem with the location of coasters because there are always some that are out of place and I never get to ride them properly.
  7. Exactly! I couldn't agree more. I mean, when I look at leviathan's brake run I always get the impression that it's taller than Dragon fire and that's a coaster that has enough speed to go through four inversions. That should be the MCBR and not the final brake run and they could have some nice airtime hills after it (for instance). B&M has been doing that with some coasters now and it kind of bothers me. Still, it could be worse (cough: "kingda ka and TTD" cough).
  8. Did they shout "90 DEGREES!" on 0:23? LOL
  9. ^ I was thinking the same. I mean, the one at D Lake is not that bad as you go over the water but the one at SFA just feels like they didn't bother to put anything else there (like one or more airtime hills).
  10. Led Zeppelin/time machine might not be a great coaster but it would still be a shame if it just went defunct so I also hope it will be relocated.
  11. ^I also wasn't expecting the drop to be that steep. It would be even better if the brakes didn't go up the track that much. Still, hoping for a great ride and that is one heck of a loop indeed. YOLO!
  12. Well, last year I was at a physical education lesson playing handball and, suddenly, an adversary of mine grabbed the ball and started running towards the goal (and there was no one there apart from the goalkeeper) so ran after him and right before he threw the ball I jumped in order to stop him and he hit me with his knee on my lap quite hardly. Most doctors said it was no big deal and, as I was young, it would be okay. In fact, it wasn't okay and a couple of weeks later I went to another one just to find out that my quadriceps had a 4 inch long injury. Basically, it took me three months to get back to sport and more than six to recover completely (with the help of physiotherapy, of course).
  13. No need to say more.
  14. Must be a great ride. The airtime just looks sick! It makes me realize that the collection of coasters we have in Europe is, unlike I originally thought, not that bad when compared to the states. I would also definitely like to see intamin making more of these.
  15. I've only ridden two B&M hypers: one was nitro and the other was shambhala. I liked nitro more but I can't really say that it was because of the trains, I guess it was more due to the less intense layout. What I can say is that I don't find them that better (yes, you do get more room but it doesn't really make a big dfference) and the "normal" ones can seat more people with no need for a massive station. Nitro has nine rows and it looks okay while the trains on shambhala only have eight cars and look strangely long to me. As to the speed matter, I don't know if the new ones are slower but I could swear that they appear to be so (or maybe its just because of the layouts itself). Personally, I prefer the non staggered trains but I'm okay with the new ones.
  16. Yeah, I seriously doubt that it could be open by then, I mean Gatekeeper is already testing and it will open just 9 days before that date so......
  17. ^You can walk through the loop. On 1:50 you can see that bridge that goes through it. Nice that you got a mounted POV of this ride. The theming is just awesome and it seems pretty nicely paced. A bit like nemesis but quite a bit less intense.
  18. That looks like some pretty serious airtime. I've heard so many great reviews of this ride that I just can't wait to finally try it out this summer
  19. After watching the video a couple of times I get the impression that the train goes through the zero-g-roll a bit faster than most other wingriders. And, in theory, this isn't full speed. I hope that means ride will be great
  20. It roars after all! It looks like they haven't silenced it. Great!!!
  21. Well that looked pretty decent for a coaster of that size, and there are not many of these spiral lift hills around. Go Schwarzkopf!
