  1. I think topper track with no layout changes would be perfectly "ethical" and would give the ride some more "life", making it smoother, also allowing the trims to be removed,.... However, as it has been pointed out, it's a matter of cost given the length of the ride.
  2. ^They probabyl just received 2''. B&M inverts usually have at least 3 meters of vertical clearance (on un-banked turns) so at least Montu's track is safe. It's "safer" but I've seen a piece of Great Bear's track fully underwater, so it's not guaranteed. (but still less likely)
  3. I fully get what you mean. I also find it extremely annoying
  4. Here it has been great, lately: around 80 and clear skies.
  5. ^Looking at the start of the zero g stall it looks like the structure will make a great head chopper! Nice!
  6. ^They're both good for different reasons, but I think the first is the funniest.
  7. Fantastic news then! Great to know! Not so great to hear about the seatbelts, though.
  8. ^Holy crap!! Those transitions.......
  9. ^It does go against the park rules, so you shouldn't obviously do it. But this was a question that had been raised here before and I think all foss123 was trying to do was to clear it, nothing more.
  10. ^No one is saying you should take them off but the fact is that B&M have 12 coasters that use those restraints with no seatbelts (until now) some of which have been running since 1999 without a single incident. So I think it's fair to say that you're perfectly safe without them.
  11. Lose Yourself - Eminem
  12. ^Last summer when I rode nitro I found there was quite a rough spot on the bottom of the first drop. I've also heard people complaining about the overall lack of smoothness (this I can't confirm myself). I don't know exactly what can be done to improve this but it probably is more important than painting parts of the station (which is still better than nothing, though). But I'll wait to see how far they go taking care of it.
  13. Wow I love the detail here. (and everywhere else, really) Superb!
  14. ^ Maybe it's still cheaper than the steel track?? (have no idea)
  15. ^We had this discussion a couple of pages back. I got the impression that while many think it could get a coaster for next year, some think it will only happen in 2016.
  16. ^Yeah, you're right, it's Eejanaika (obviously)
  17. Eurofighter. B&M invert or sitting/floorless?
  18. ^Granted, you wouldn't have to wait because you would be on a wheelchair for the rest of your life. I wish B&M stepped into the launched coaster area.
  19. ^I couldn't find a picture of NTaG but IR's transfer track (at least part of it) is made of steel. This confirms that we can now have a new type of hybrid: half of the layout is steel (with RMC's I-box track and normal steel supports) and the other half is wood (topper track)! That would be interesting.
  20. Can we still ride it like that? Now, seriously. That's an impressive amount of water
  21. ^That could be a new type of ride (a variation of a half-pipe): a mustache
  22. ^Nice to hear that, overall, there hasn't been much stacking as I thought that having three trains on a ride of that duration would make it very difficult to avoid it. Hope it continues like that
  23. Well at least this mean SF is taking proper care of this coaster so that it stays in shape for a long time, rather than just letting it become rough or anything like that.
